Why will Purosangue V12 production receive priority? I would estimate the V12 2 seater to be a higher margin car. My guess is that the production will be very similar to what Ferrari has done with the V12 cars in the recent past. Limited supply upfront as they clear out the Purosangue order books, which creates the perception of a low production numbers car and then a ramp up in production 1-2 years in. Highly doubt they will produce less F167 vs the 812.

I do not know if that will be what happens.
But, unlike any other model (ever?) Ferrari has stated multiple times that Purosangue production will not exceed 20% of overall capacity and that might result in 12-15,000 being made over 5 years, well, that's not possible if the F167 is given a decent portion of V12 production, and....the F167 project was rumored to have been very close to cancellation by Vigna, so, as a result it is many years later than a typical V12 replacement model reveal and it could be affected by corporate decisions...

I will carefully review the 2023 Annual Report for clues...should be online within next 30 days

Sort of, the presentation is next week.

Over past several years, the online PDF Annual Report appears the 3rd week of February (only once did it occur earlier, on Feb 18 and once it occurred later, March 3)

You can review the document release history here (by year):

I really like the light band on the front and the wide band thing on the back. The F167 definitely has some 365 GTB design cues. I wonder why they didn't show the interior, must be ready by now?!

Purosangue production will be decently higher than F167 because it will have double or triple the order book due to its multiple use cases and near universal appeal. Also it is unique offering in the line up whereas the other sports car models are available to suit every fancy

They will produce 167s as long as a last customer wants one.The new E - Apple Factory will recover production lines for hybridization and free up capacity in the historic factory

It was not possible to see the interior since it was a maquette. FRONT is ispired by the Daytona with large hood vents and overall design is not a Roma derivation.Very long door.Car seems longer than the 812. V12 not hybrid. The rear seems interesting with the roof that continues to the tail with just one line of design...The back of the car is quite elaborated...I don't know anything more sorry

    Interesting response...
When the F12 and 812 were released they were the Flagship model, desirable to have the top model...now that is no more...V8+Turbo+Hybrid is the Flagship since May 2019 (remember, at that reveal, 812SF demand cratered, went to the floor, status 10R to delivery times became less than 6 months) Yes the 812GTS somewhat changed that but only due to the novelty of having an open top standard V12 model...

Further, day355's response, to me, means that demand is not expected to be high, production definitely will not be high volume, so, maybe it sorts itself out, meaning if only 3000 (coupes) are demanded, it will take 5 years to build out, if 5000 are demanded, production will definitely need to be extended past 5 years...curious times for the V12, this will be the first time it is not the Flagship at its reveal...

I think thats a great point- but- I also see a philosophical counter point.

The 12 has been a bit of a GT car- even the mid engine Testarossa is more of a GT than a sports car. Then they tried to push it into being more of a front engined supercar with the 599- and thats a very nice car, but it didn’t quite hit that mark. The F12 got a lot closer, and I think the 812 really got there. But, by then, EV, hybrid, turbos, etc, all showed there is more power out there, and asking the V12 up front to compete with these cars- often mid engine- (sometimes no engine!) would be just too difficult.

So enter SF90- a car that can achieve all the performance and even more.

Now, it would seem, the V12 can be freed up from being the performance leader to being a car that can more focus on experience…

Plus it has, head lights similar to the SP3 Daytona, not in the wings/ fenders anymore, and twin glass roof.

When asked about the engine they said it was a V12, they would not confirm or deny if it had assistance, all they would say was they did not know!

As above, it has some design cues to the 365 Daytona from the 70's, described to me as almost like a modern interpretation of the 70’s Daytona Coupe.

Just the coupe coming at the moment.

This info came after speaking to 3 different dealers who had seen the car last week.

Can someone explain what made 365 GTB/4 Daytona so special? For me, it looks bland (even against Roma, which has at least some curvature here and there).

Just hoping that F167 has more character than Daytona.

    Well said.

For me, that has the potential to be a very good thing. And the color from @day355 and others suggests that it will be.

I can't wait to see it!
