You're not very convincing in your argument. Sir Lewis Hamilton is in a great space with his father now, all that is behind him. Now you are assuming what Sir Lewis Hamilton will say in the future lol.

Why are some of you arguing with those who are not supporting Ferrari any more? I say encourage them to leave. I hope to see more of the fake Ferrari fans leave the sooner the better.
In the upcoming days, I hope to see more of them announce that they are leaving.

Exactly. What do we want here guys? A WC, right?!? Who cares if the guy behind the wheel has eye rolling antics on and off the track. Well, I don't care. I just want a WC. Not sure why this is so hard to get.

The last 15+ years have been a string of fine, honorable drivers but no WC. I'm tired of that.

Obviously it's more about the car, I get that.

Ah, I´m sensing a vaudeville story of bigamous marriage and stolen family jewels.

    Good ole values!

    Thanks for elaborating.
Loyalty towards one's country is indeed in a different league (even if some rabid sports fans may seems to blur that line!), and I thank you for your service.
As to the politics of the NFL, F1 or it's driver's "BS", topics deserving of a chat over a beer or coffee or whatever.

Such a great space that his father is still not allowed to go to all the races. Very good sir! Imagine the character assassinations their would be if Max suddenly told Jos to not come to his races now for no reason, or if the same had happened with Jenson and John, Sebastian and Norbert! But we all know this would never happen as these drivers always show respect and gratitude to the people that got them to where they are!

Let's come back here and discuss once Lewis lies about his "life long love for Ferrari" as i predict he will. Deal?

How many times have you been to races surrounded by Max's orange Army? And what trouble or disorder did you see? And how many times have you been to Monza and seen fans get a hard time?

    Exactly what he said.

Hamilton won't increase the Ferrari wins, but he will make the team and F1 more exciting. It's a big soap opera after all.

I voted no. I think he will clash with Charles and the both will be worse for the wear. Lewis thinks too much a bout himself and his "fashion" look is ridiculous with the dreads and the threads

A great move. Just watch Hamilton stick it to Verstappen once back in a competitive car, which the 2025 Ferarri will be. Lewis is such an exciting driver. Bring it on!

Max' Orange Army have been following him in mass to several circuits in Europe, and creating mayhem in some cases by launching their orange smoke bombs on the track; to the extend these are now banned, I read.
Some of the grandstands at Monza are taken over by tifosi who only accept people wearing Ferrari regalia.
Non-Ferrari supporters have been harassed and sometime expelled from some areas around the track.
I don't make it up; it's well documented and largely exposed on YouTube and social media. Some incidents have made the news at times.
As a family, we attended a GP at Monza only once in the 80s, and enjoyed it. The Italian spectators were enthusiastic but friendly, and well behaved; it was rather civilised then.
But time have changed. The widespread use of team regalia in many sports has encouraged tribal mentality and created segregation between different groups of fans. Add to that alcohol and drugs, and the potential violence that could ensue; large public gatherings are no safe place anymore. That's my verdict.

dude, purporting to know what goes on between a father and a son you know about only through the media, and then casting blame, is toxic as hell.
Thanks for sharing your opinions. I'm done with this line of discussion.

Voted yes, don't like Hamilton but cannot ignore he is a great driver and has won races in not-so-great cars. I just think it will be good for the team, development and push Charles, and on top of that it will be entertaining. Not sure of any championships, but interesting experiment.

Interesting how the overall numbers are shifting:

When I launched the poll the pros were 18%, this morning they were at 1/3 and now it's past 40%.
