I have no technical knowledge on the subject. Perhaps center lock is not superior at all to standard. Just think it adds a cool touch.
Ferrari doesn’t care about brand history anymore sadly, the people in charge do whatever they want but I used the XX and comp as an example because of their power output, maybe center locks are more so just to look cool rather than being needed for strength reasons. I personally hope it has center locks but from all the test mules it doesn’t look promising Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
https://www.motor1.com/news/706981/red-bull-hypercar-specs/ i have no doubt that f250 will be amazing car but also have no doubt that we wish to see something similar coming from Ferrari.
812Competizione, no wing, no gazillion KGs of downforce @124mph, weighs way more, brilliant car. The numbers game is irellevant. I believe the F250will be way more extreme than any previous ferrari halo.
V10 NA with red line at 15k rpm, I hope we will see more engines like this but not only in hyper cars
really? I must have missed it. 900kg 1200hp NA reving to 15000. No my friend, they dont. They could, if they wanted.Le mans and Daytona are proof. Hopefully in future.
ferrari's comepeting track only customer car might not have 1200hp but it's only 1030kg and in theory can lap le man in theory in 3:29 (with a good driver of course!)
Ferrari already offer a proven LeMans winning prototype to there clientele. Newey's project is a sketch on a computer screen, for the time being. BTW, you can get a V10/12 Ferrari Formula 1 car, if you are interested. Anyway, all these have nothing to do with the new road going Ferrari hypercar.
Red Bull keep giving Newey some kind of "incentive" so he won't get bored and leave. He likes making impossible road cars so they let him do it for fun. I'd say it's unlikely to come out and even if it does, it will be a nightmare to maintain once the drinks company decide they've had enough with ICE cars....
I mean road car as in "not a race car" which this isn't, since it will never race in an official series.

Indeed, this is far easier to design an extreme track car without all the road homologations constraints..
Sorry if this has been already asked, but the first F250 prototype had fixed big wing, the new mule has no wing. What's going on? Is the car going to have an active wing that can retract into the body? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Does anyone know will the F250 have a completely new carbon tub, will it even have one to begin with?
