Hello all! i replaced my wheel center caps with new official from Ricambi (IIRC) and I notice one problem: the original wheel center caps have a large "O" ring underneath them and the new ones do not. They seem to fit tightly. Is this something to ignore? Thanks, Lester
The new metal circlip in 340066 does indeed keep them very tightly fitted. The o-rings are available if you want them -- but they'll make the cap sit a bit 'proud' of the wheel face. I don't know (or really care) how needed they are, but most customers of ours seem to be running without the o-rings. On all the newer cars which had 340066 spec'd originally, there are rubber no-rings.
