I feel a slight lope in comfort and sport when idling. More noticeable when the car is not warmed up. I assume this is normal and it's not to be expected to be buttery smooth. Is this correct?

That last photo is quite lovely. The colors of your car interior match the colors on the road rather nicely.

Can you please explain "slight lope?"

Like a slight rough idle that you can feel. Not terrible but perceptible as you can see the tach bounce as well ever so slightly.

Occasionally (but not often) while idle and not warmed up, my car will shake ever so slightly; if it occurs, it will repeat itself a few of times, 10s of seconds apart. I'll experience this in one or two stoplights at most and then it will go away.

More frequently, but still not very regularly, I'll get up-shifts that are not quite as smooth when the car isn't warmed up.

Looks like after some research it's normal behavior and indicative of a flat-plane crank versus cross-plane. A slight vibration is the by product of a flat plane crank which the 3.9 has. I actually like it and it reminds me of 70's muscle cars with a camshaft.

Certainly not the direction I chose for my build. This is stunning. Everything really marries well here. Thanks for sharing!

Someone on one of the Ferrarichat forums compared the gear shifts of the new Roma Spider with the coupe. They noticed that the gear changes in the spider (when in sport or race) were much more `punchy`. I used to love changing gears in my Portofino and 812 GTS, but have noticed that the Roma coupe gears had less of a mechanical `whack` when upshifting and downshifting. It appears to be a mapping setting. Does anyone know if this can be modified in the coupe to be more aggressive?

I noticed the same; I drove a new Spider last week and felt the same “thump” when accelerating in sport mode versus my 2021 coupe.

UPDATE... so bizarre. Having given up hope I was driving the car today and after 2 weeks of so it suddenly just started working again. I think I just need to get used to this sort of thing. The car remains absolutely amazing and a joy to drive! Why did I wait so long?!

Gorgeous scenery and a gorgeous car. I did Zion and Bryce Canyon in my old Ford Escort GT many years back, it must have been AMAZING in an F-car. Thanks for sharing!

Lovely pics. I have the carbon fiber wheel caps on my grigio titanio Roma and they look really sharp. I am not sure if they are available after market (I suppose anything is) but might be something to consider for yours. I think it would make those yellow calipers really pop. I don't think the yellow caps take anything away, and perhaps having two elements of yellow is better than one (!), but just something to consider. Thanks for sharing!
