I bought that brand on The Isle of Capri. Part of the Prada Group. I wish I’d only paid that price. They were so expensive I haven’t been able to bring myself to wear them outside of the house. Yet.

I did have a Scorpion in 1986. I think it was a 1984 model. 2.6 Ltr manual. 4 wheel discs.

Foolishly, unlike a true enthusiast, I kept the airconditioning in. [emoji301]️

I bought these & love them, don't mind the company name as a drink also :D they are super comfortable, they emailed me backwards & forwards getting dimensions from me, they were virtually a custom fit, so may different styles to choose from, can highly recommend.

I also like these & will probably try them for next set, when old ones wear out, had them 3 years so far.

Ha! Funny you say that. When I lived in Australiastan, we thought the same of poser tossers who wore cheesy disco driving gloves; especially the ones who posted as their profile icon an image of themselves wearing said disco gloves.

Saw a dude picking somebody up at the airport the other day.

Driving a Tesla... Took his time putting on the dark sunnies and light tan driving gloves before he drove off in electric silence. Whom be just a little bit of a flog then?

I guess I'm just doing it wrong. Need to save up for a major and a new catalytic converter, have no money for designer clothes - or even socks for that matter.

True enthusiasts spend money on oil, not shoes.

The older you get, the more often they seem to come around.

Kinda like birthdays where you have to spend $20k on yourself.

That’s fair enough BUT if you wore these Gucci loafer knock offs in the 1970s you’d be a dead set poofter. In Steve’s case they were compulsory in Adelaide :p :p :p

And keep in mind these Tod type driving shoes were meant for. exactly that - driving. People used to change their shoes when they got in the car. If you walk on hard surfaces much those little rubber 'dots' will wear out very quickly and I doubt you'll find anyone to replace them in Aus...
