Double check the parts before you fit, the quality of their stuff is marginal sometimes, I've sent stuff back and won't order from them anymore. I only use Maranello Classic Parts UK as they only sell genuine Ferrari parts
You may want to consider the tensioners as well. They are just as likely to fail as the bearings (if not more so). Everybody focusses on belts but the bearings and tensioners are equally as important. Also a good time to send your injectors out for a service. The 2.7 cars injectors are next to impossible to find, so look after them... The later cars not so bad.
Which stuff Greg? I've used them for a lot of stuff and I've generally found a lot of their stuff to be very good. The hill engineering stuff for example is really top notch.
When I bought parts for the Mondial, I had to send two of the fuel lines back, one was the wrong length and the other had the wrong fitting (was supposed to be a banjo fitting). Them I tried to buy a header tank and gave then the part number, asked for a photo before shipping, completely wrong part. And they never seem to provide tracking. With Maranello Parts, I put in an order Sunday night online and they turn up before the following weekend, always correct....
I got the parts from Superformance in 3 business days and used the same parts before with no issue ..... and anyway, Marc won't fit them unless they're good
I wear Sparco Superleggera when in my Lola T91/50. They are the absolute thinnest shoe with a sole that I could find, and absolutely necessary given zero room in the pedal box. Any shoe wider than my actual foot would hit two pedals at once! I wear Stand21 Corvette Team shoes when racing or spirited driving my Corvettes I just bought a pair of Sparco SP-F5 for spirited drives and HPDE in the 458. Cars can be like outfits - sometimes need a different pair of shoes to go with each one.

very cool Arvin! My T91/50 is a former Japanese F3000 pro car that was moved to North America sans engine and brakes. Prior gentleman fitted a 4.3L Buick Indy Lights V6. I hope to one day put a 3.0L V8 back in it such as Mugen Honda or Zytek for example. I believe I have the only T91/50 in the United States. The Buick V6 is a ripper, but ouch to rebuild .. A couple of ex-F3000 Lola T91/50s came here in the day and raced Formula Holden V6 of around 350bhp.
The Buick V6 is cheap to rebuild here in the states. Only about $6K versus $40K for 3000cc V8! Formula Holden didn't use the Indy Lights / IMSA Buick V6, it used a production car 3.8L V6 which is really a production car V8 with two cylinders lopped off, hence siamesed exhaust ports on one end. Our true Buick V6 race engines have equal port spacing. Mine is producing 500+ hp and spins up to 8500rpm, although Buick limited rpms for the series to 7200rpm, around 450hp (for reliability - they never wanted an engine failure on live TV).
Ah it's a mondial they probably figured any old cr*p would fit! Maranello parts are really good as well, I find them an excellent source to find tougher stuff (like the brand new battery box they managed to find for me sitting on a shelf in Italy somewhere). Awesome service too, mind you they all provide pretty good support... Superformance, Eurospares, Ricambi, Maranello - all very good.
The Holden V6 very reliable, with shocking exhaust sound, drone a flat soind . My car sounded fantastic with the 4.9l IMSA Buick. The figures are very similar to what my car produced ..just shy of 500bhp.
Because I do lots of miles in my cars, driving shoes are important and add to MY experience. Spending 10 hours in a car be it 500km or a 1,000km day, comfort is everything to me. In the E-type, little foot room so it is the old Sparco's. The 991.2 suede or leather shoes or the Yellow Polo brand Macan GTS Gazelles T Series always boots! MY come .....Me boots Surfing down the coast years ago bare foot !
