    I disagree...see my previous post.

The only 3 scenarios that a 4th down gamble is justified:

    1) Lions are down 24-10 (they were up 24-10)
    2) it's 4th and inches
    3) it's a difficult FG (too deep, or bad weather, whatever the case may be).

At that point in the game, you need as many points as possible to make it very difficult for SF to comeback. 27-10 would have been a 90-95 percent clinch in my opinion.

I'm with you and would have gone for fg too but Detroit was consistent all season with their strategy so I won't criticize them now

He should have learned his lesson when it cost him vs Dallas 3 weeks ago. Except this time it was for a trip to the SB.

Washington to hire Quinn as HC.

Looks like hoodie found out what the owners really think of him.

I don't think history will show it that way.... they were never "against" each other in that way.

Sure, he got another on in Tampa... but you can't compare a QB to a coach, or any other position.

Football is too much of a team sport for that.... you need a LOT of things to be going right in order to win a Super Bowl... let alone multiple Super Bowls.

I don't think Brady wins in New England without Belichick coaching, without Gronk, without those great defences.... so many factors.

Same thing now with Patrick Mahomes.... he wouldn't be the same player without Andy Reid, Travis Kelce, etc.

well bellichck record will always be tainted by running brady out of town when he was still top if not best qb in league. and brady lost peak randy moss and didnt miss a beat. same for mahomes and tyreek. brady won with todd jets bowles! doesnt matter who teammates or coaches are when youre all time best qb

No way... you need a defense... you need a line that can protect you.... you need receivers and backs that can make plays

I don't care how good you are... football needs a TEAM

It should be more tainted by the repeated cheating instances, in addition to Brady run out. He tried to kick him to the curb years before he actually did…he wanted Garapolo. Crazy.

At least Don Shula always seemed to be responsive to the fans and the media and hardly anything truly negative was ever said about him. Forget about his postseason record; to me, Shula is the greatest of all time.

Who do you have winning the SB?
Who do you think the MVP is?

I hope the 49ers destroy KC and team Taylor.
But, I don’t think the NFL wants that to happen so look for an eeker by Kansas and the officiating staff as “MVP”.

Agree..... rooting for the 9ers for sure, but I'd be shocked if the Chiefs don't win.... honestly I could see Chiefs winning by more than 10 points.

KC just built better for big games like this....... SF more a solid regular season team.

Feels a bit like last year. 49ers are probably the more talented team and should win, but the Chiefs are just built different. I'll take Kansas City.

Yes Philly was the better team last year

That fumble early hurt a lot…. And that 4th quarter drive of Mahomes they just couldn’t stop

Mahomes is just clutch like Brady, Montana, etc. They're great and then even greater when counts the most. Same with Mj, Kobe, jeter, big poppie. Cannot see kc losing unless he gets hurt.

Best QB wins it all, again.

Niners have to shut up now…they are nothing but the Bills of old losing 4 SB’s, and the Bills of new that cant win it.

Kc is incredible. Crazy as it sounded at time, Romo was right about sf going for td from the 4 in ot. Just cannot give Mahomes chance to put you away bc he always will. Wow
