How many times did they shaft Leclerc during a race in favor of Sainz? Do you think they won't give priority to someone they are paying $100MM a year?
That’s the real issue, I agree. Based on Ferraris performance the past few years I’d say it would take a miracle and a complete restructuring of the team from the ground up for them to produce a championship winning car. In typical Italian fashion they can’t get their **** together. Just look at how Mercedes runs their team. The precision and organization from every little position to the top is on point. I’d love to see Ferrari operate like that but without some very major changes I’m not hopeful. Charles needs to get out asap.
« In typical Italian fashion they can’t get their…together » Really hope they will prove you wrong this year. And I don’t even talk about this kind of racist prejuge.
Prejudice apart, it's true that Ferrari has the habit of not delivering, so a little bit of cynicism don't come amiss.
I hope they prove me wrong too! I’ve been waiting a long time now. Racist? Really? For the record I’m Italian. My grandparents came here to give their children a better life. God bless us, we are a wonderful people but we are NOT known for being highly organized. Saying so isn’t racism in the least. If I said we can’t talk without using our hands is that “racist” too?
I didn’t say they were infallible! As much as it pains me to admit it, they run a very tight ship. Although it was great fun the past year watching them falter.
Absolutely agree. But sorry the new rules of the politically correct should be applied for everything and not « a la carte « As a French I can list for you so many flaws my fellow countrymans have.. Forza Ferrari !
The render they released is very underwhelming. From the promise of the all new car it looks very conventional. That said, the suspension is by far the most important aspect of these cars.
This car is a car engineered for an operational team work. Easy access to suspensions components, etc .. The goal seems to open the set up ranges during the weekend gps. Will it be enough ? Enough usable downforce ? Time will tell.
Seems to me last year the car was "fast" enough. They just couldn't hustle the pig around more than a few laps before it fell away. Hopefully they fixed all of that issue, upped the QC for reliability, and added a bit to the speed. Semper Ferrari!
Maybe Ferrari know something all the other teams don’t (doubtful) but they always seem a day late and a dollar short when it comes to innovation and pushing the performance envelope. It took them a year to figure out they needed to move the lower side impact structure cones onto the floor to open up the undercut… I hope it won’t be the same for the pushrod rear suspension that’s been adopted by every other team.
