Any advice for aligning the tips on a 360? I've spent several hours adjusting with the slots and added shims to the stock exhaust bracket/bow piece to try helping with the fore/aft issue but I still can't get it to sit right. Only one side will sit squarely and with it being one piece there's no way to get the other side to fit without knocking the other side out of alignment. The driver side also sticks out about 1/4" further.

It is a long and frustrating work to obtain everything aligned, for real. Are you sure that this exhaust is not a little "croocked" on one side?

That's what I'm thinking. I can easily move it around, but the 1 piece design prevents adjustments from influencing the opposite side. When I raise the driver side, it lowers the inside tip on the passenger side almost onto the paint. The current alignment in the pic has both inside tips roughly equally spaced off the paint.

I’m speaking from fitting a Kline on a 430, but I believe it’s the same setup.

The forward/backward 1/4” is from the connection at the cats. To get it perfectly aligned I needed a second set of hands. Once we were close I loosened the clamp going into the cat on the side that was sticking out further and from the tips I pushed as hard as I could inward, while also encouraging it to go into the up/down direction I needed (this is after maxing out what I could do at the crossbow thing). While applying pressure at the tip push it past where you want its finally resting place to be while your helper bolts the cat back down. After a few attempts it now sits perfectly even on both sides. It’s a PITA, but it can be done.

Looking at your picture on my phone it looks like you’re very close. You’ll get it.

Thanks for the reply. I've also swapped headers and cats and the rest of the exhaust is still loose. It can be moved up and down easily, but there just doesn't appear to be a sweet spot. I've also shimmed one side of the bow to push the driver side forward/into the car a tiny bit. The fore/aft is to a point I can live with even though it's still off a tiny amount, it's mostly the up/down that needs fixing. If I push up on the driver side from where it is in the pic, it puts the passenger inside tip 1mm or less from resting on the paint, and I think during normal operation it might rub/burn the paint if I torque it down that way.

About to go take another swing at it...

It's definitely a time consuming, nerve wracking adjustment process. Find an "acceptable" result for you, that's enough. Perfection is not of this world but it's worth trying go as close as possible.

Hah, indeed. I got it about 95% by dremeling the slots and using thicker shims on one side of the bow. Hopefully the last time I buy an exhaust without individual tip adjustment.

Kline produces very good exhaust systems. Very strange, known "worldwide" the fact that this adjustment on the 360 is PIT*, that producer didn't considerate the individual tips adhustment.
