Doing the fuel filter... I'm removing a Bosch, which looks to probably have never been replaced... or it's been a LOOONG time.

So not sure if it's OEM but I have the MANN WK853... wanted to make sure I'm good with this before I install... otherwise I'll take 'er back and get a Bosch.

Did you cross reference it, did you purchase it for the car? If yes to both then you have your answers. Just saying…..

Yes and yes. I know it fits, just want to make sure it's the best solution.

Yes, it was definitely fitted with a Bosch fuel filter in OE (with K-Jetronic, Bosch sold the complete fuel system to OE customers, even including the fuel filter). There have been a few part number changes in recent years (it used to be known as F5203 in the USA) but the current p/n is 0986 AF8 092 (the line was shifted from Spain to Bulgaria (!) several years ago). I think they're still using the original tooling.

I'm sure the Mann + Hummel is OK, but if you want the original I'd get the Bosch filter.
