And im considering going to an eag kit for my scud as that was converted using oem parts.
Because the aftermarket parts are lighter and stronger and like I said, they work better than the factory stuff for the cars I own
One last comment calling someone a rapist who was never charged or convicted of rape in the framework of a company owner is a huge huge mistake. That could cost him everything. Done
Even Hellen Keller did. Isn't it odd that pretty much everyone who has gotten involved with the business has had a falling out? Sent from my toilet using FerrariChat.com mobile app
being art did not post the article here it is…not a single word of rape, she claimed sexual assault but the evidence did not show that the case was resolved in October 23 case closed so to bring up a resolved case and claim rape when clearly “disorderly conduct” was the charge is very very stupid….not a lawyer but I did stay at a holiday inn last week https://nypost.com/2024/01/13/metro/model-claims-ex-chillingly-told-her-i-would-have-fun-killing-lawsuit/
A player lineup card is needed as there seem to be 3 posters here, one of whom hasn't really identified themselves. This appears to be Art Bartosik. This is a brand new account purportedly created because Art discovered the official EAG account, The NewEAG, was no longer accessible by him. This is the EAG official account, which was created by Chris Heuss, who was purportedly CEO of EAG until his departure first reported in July 2023. The current user of this account seems to be speaking from the perspective of the EAG partners who purportedly took away machines, tooling, parts, designs, etc. The implications are that they intend to continue the business, somehow, and they will attempt to honor warranties as TheNewCo, to some extent (conditional "where sensible"). This appears to be Chris Heuss, who was briefly CEO of EAG (until he reported he wasn't in July 2023). Posting locations are distinct from each other. Back to viewing/spectating.
In New York the crime of sexual assault includes the act of rape. He plead guilty to disorderly conduct but the charges were several and varied. All of which is very common in domestic violence cases. DA's are typically happy to take a guilty plea on something to make it go away as long as there is reason to believe it will make the war stop.
Fair question. Sadly I’m the main reason Art and John met. I met art during covid when i purchased a kit for my 430 and john did the installation for me at his dealership. As is well documented on fchat, from day 1 I have had zero issues communicating and dealing with art, from general irrelevant questions to support for the conversions etc. Both my scud and 430 have been down to EAG for updates and they have come back in perfect condition, and even with small things sorted that i didn’t even tell him about- vibrating driver side mirror and rear taillight as examples. Moreover, i believe every single person who has contacted me looking for help engaging EAG was quickly satisfied/remedied. Some of those people have become “car friends” who i chat with etc. Ive known John for a long time both as a customer of his at the dealership and throughout the local car community here in ny. He has always been helpful and diligent about anything ferrari related and i was eager to introduce him to Art as I really believed there was a ton of synergy to be leveraged from what i thought cld only be a symbiotic relationship. I have spoken to both over the past couple days and ive expressed my sincere apologies to both for having been a main reason that they connected and ive expressed how much i wish they cld find any solution other than scorched earth. As someone mentioned previously or in a different thread, this goes way beyond the individuals and both guys have young families and life can be shorter than we all expect. From an EAG perspective this is the first time i feel truly useless and incapacitated because i feel like 2 of my cousins are fighting. If i said either art or john has ever done anything negative by me id be lying through my teeth. Fwiw, I dont know john yi and didnt know he was the investor until yesterday. Other than offering advice to Art and John whenever asked, i did not get into the details of the relationship as i had little value to add. When Dan was trying to help out during covid it was me that gave dan an idea on how to raise investor money at the kit level, rather than at the company level. Long winded, EAG conversions had me at hello - my scud is better than the cgt i had and the gated 430 rivals divine inspiration. Having owned 90 cars of the past 20 years i have had no shortage of requests/opportunities to invest in shops and my answer has always been the same: i enjoy being a good customer and expect nothing in return but fairness and honesty. I love new shops and old shops. I was an early adopter of Bradan and now have a 15 year relationship and everyone knows he is responsible for taking my F40 to platinum with having incredible help from our own rifledriver. I was there in the beginning with tommy at P1 as well as Keane, Meccanic, 1600veloce, IMG, Sticky RX, J&B autobody - all shops i have used/use/and more importantly call friends. I have spent a good amount of time with trev and if it wasn’t for trev and art coming together its likely the world wld have never seen a fully functional non ediff delete oem conversion. So, the surprising news over the past day has me beside myself, genuinely saddened and disappointed and without being too dramatic I’m praying for a more peaceful resolution.
There are other possibly reasons why assets would be seized. Embezzlement, theft, operations agreements violations, I don't know what he did this time, but while I was CEO of EAG I raised a lot of red flags. Towards the end of my time at EAG Art told me he didn't even have a drivers license. Art accusing John and Jon of theft is a big deal. I know Jon to be an extremely patient and generous person. If they did something this drastic it was almost certainly with an attorney's blessing. If the videos Art posted are removed in the next few days we can assume real lawyers got involved. I bet Art ends up in jail someday. Tax evasion or embezzlement would be my guess. Art is lying in his videos. Art will probably by furious with me and threaten to sue claiming defamation. Not worried at all.
I thought it was team EAG vs team Bad Apples. What are the odds?! I'm team BRADAN too. Love my 550 straight pipes. Dan is finishing up my mega TR and Diablo restorations. I remember your F40 platinum win. A very big deal for Dan and team. And I've put 10,000 miles on my EAG 599 so far.
I bet more are coming. When you confirm in writing, both on Fchat and in chats and txts the details and rationale for your conspiracy and heist, it's too much good content to ignore. Team Bad Apples should post their legal filings, evidence, anything tangible. Like Art's videos. If we're starting a betting pool on who has the upper hand legally, only one side has shared evidence backing claims so far. Rob must love all the traffic and engagement here; should Art get a little cut of ad revenues this month?
EAG actually was good with support post install. I had hoped to visit the shop but they kept moving and expanding. Seems like a complicated set of financial issues caused by increased competition and difficulties managing growth.
What is your play in this? You’ve spent more time on here than anyone. Other than the fact you produced arts embarrassing videos. I know you are a nice person and a great client. In the face of ridiculous evidence yet you show up time and time again to battle the obvious. Why do you do it? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Holy crap. Just catching up on this soap opera. While I feel bad (somewhat) for anyone that has been (allegedly) done wrong, I can't say that the entire EAG thing (and Art in general) hasn't been a cluster**** from the very beginning where they tried to sell one of their conversions without disclosing that it was a conversion. I don't recall ever seeing a Mea Culpa for that either. The whole thing has been slimy from the get-go and the partnership with NGSC didn't help. What's truly sad is that it actually sounded like a good product and they had some very satisfied customers (and many disgruntled ones). I don't have a dog in this hunt and really don't have anything personally against Art or EAG, so if they can regroup and become a respected vendor within in the Ferrari community, then good for them...but damn, it seems there were no lessons learned for the entire existence of the company.
In the oil and gas space you would let the lawyers sort it out. then start anew w new name ‘mgt’ capital and get back on the train! gl to all and don’t cry over spilt milk
Wow. Just wow. I don't know any of the backstory, but something is definitely wrong. I hope it gets sorted out legally and justly.
