Is blue the best colour on a GT4? Blu Tour de France? So hard to choose from online photos..... Image Unavailable, Please Login View attachment 3647455
Not sure why there's four posts on this… Regardless, color is completely subjective. Personally, when I was looking for my car, my "dream" was blue over tan. The blue I liked the best was this: Image Unavailable, Please Login I thought if I found one any other color, I could repaint it that color. I found a red one, then discovered that its original color was green, and when I saw photos of what that color looked like, I thought that was the way to go. So I had my car repainted the original verde pino metallizzato and now I've forgotten all about blue. Image Unavailable, Please Login
It a “ how longs a piece of string “ Q .No answer as its 100 % subjective . Red is popular these days .But back in period ( mid 1970 s ) they did some pretty funky paler metallics . My GT4 is currently resale red but it came of the factory in Chiaro Blu Metallizzato. I think it is a great colour and once the mechanicals are sorted I am going to put it back to the original
The GT4 looks great in any color! I think it best to go to the original color? The variety is just another thing that sets the Dino apart from the others! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
A timely thread as in a couple months I'll be painting my car. It was originally silver boxer and I feel it looses its lines. Also there are so many silver ones. It is really hard to make a decision as photo colors all over the place and called same color. Presently I'm favoring dino blue mettalic. Azzaro metallic just a little too light and even though I love blue Sera my interior is black, Sera needs tan. Keep posting those blue gt4 photos with the color name, maybe I'll be swayed
I don’t recall tdf blue being a color available for a GT4. Blu Sera looks amazing as does Blu Scuro but as mentioned there a many great options in blue. Check out 308-328.com Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Hans of GT4 fame had an interesting blue but I seem to recall it was not a factory colour?- any one recall?. Was it a GM colour? I'm getting old.....can't recall details.....
I prefer the darker colors in general, particularly blues and greens, and I agree with you that it really needs a tan interior for that. But I think the lighter colors work quite well with a black interior, in particular Azzuro. This isn't the best quality video, but it looks like the interior is black: Also, though, I believe this one is Blu Sera, and it looks quite good with a black interior as well… but, yeah, would look better with tan, but still looks great: Image Unavailable, Please Login
Best blue? Of what universe… Dino GT4 only? All Ferrari blues from the GT4 era (i.e. period correct)? All Ferrari blues from all eras? The total universe of blues? My personal all time favorite Ferrari blue is blu Ribot.
Azzuro is also my favorite colour on this car and other Ferraris also. Ferrari really do make some amazing colours for their cars.
