So I have two Pocher F-40's. I bought one for my self and built it into a pretty good model, and then found one on Ebay that was built but in really bad state, bought it and took it apart and re built for my dad. When he passed away a couple of years ago, i now have both. I would like to make one into the F40LM, and Am wondering if anyone has done that - and if there are any trans kits - or designs there? I think the biggest thing for me is cutting the front hood opening, not sure how to do that without causing major damage. I've been musing on this for a while so just decided that this will be an upcoming project. any thoughts? anyone done this already?

    Thanks
    Tom

I think I've seen LM transkits for Pocher many times on Ebay. Tremonia had them (but mostly just PE parts), but I've seen at least the correct wheels. Not sure about body parts. Are Pocher models diecast? Cutting a hole in the nose shouldn't be a problem.

I had one built many years ago of the Pilot-liveried Aldix Racing car (#34). Looks great. Costalotto. Lots of transkits and other necessary parts purchased. LOTS of hours by the builder.
