Sold 430 Scuderia with 3k miles

I am helping a friend in South America sell his 430 Scuderia. It is red with stripes and has 3k miles / 5k km on it. He is looking for around $330k which I think may be a bit high, but he asked what I think and I said I will put a feeler out there. He asked I do not post pictures publicly, so if anyone has any real interest, let me know. We can ship this car anywhere in the world.

 

Not to the US, you cannot. Would need to be federalized.

 

Not to mention that the 430 Scud isn't on the nonconforming eligibility list, so you'd need to petition NHTSA, which is a 6 figure, 12+ month process.

 

100% agree- price should be around $250-275k.

 

He has a USA spec car, so the answer is yes.

 

Send 330K to South America and a Scud will show up at your doorstep - correct? Anymore details or is that all we get?

I don't find this funny one bit. If you are here to make jokes please go somewhere else. If someone was interested they can contact me privately and any information will be given. Unlike the joke or scam you are trying to imply. I have helped my friend sell his cars here with RM sothebys before and we imported about 8 other cars sold at there auctions and privately. He has one of the largest car collections in his country. Clearly you are not interested so keep moving on and take your sarcasm somewhere else.

You could have saved yourself some trouble by being better prepared. You could have mentioned it was a US car and have explained some basic logistics involved in a transaction of this nature in your post. Instead you chose to get defensive. For Pete's sake you don't even have the year of the car or what the spec is other than red with stripes. When you sell something you're supposed to make it easy to buy. Having to contact you in private just to ask what color the tach is or what the interior looks like does not make it easy. You might be better off putting it on Sothebys. Just my opinion is all and yes I am looking for a Scud hence why I clicked on the ad.

 

As mentioned I posted this to get a feeler for price with those miles.. I am not a dealer. If you or anyone wanted to know something they were free to ask instead of trying to post something sarcastic, sorry I am not perfect. Sounds like you need to go to your local dealer if you want to be catered to.

 

Agree with RoyalPink's thoughts on this. If you are going to ask for input from the community, take the opportunity to share some relevant information.

Yes, the car sold for 300k.

Some specs from the window sticker are

racing stripe (silver)
red calipers
radio delete
fire extinguisher
carbon door sills
special stitching
bata upholstery

 

Wheel color?

 

And yes, the year matters as 09’s automatically come with carbon package.
