    Mark,
well, one day I called them, the conversation was in Italian, and the gist of it
if we had been face to face, would have been a very significant Italian shrug.
The book does not exist online at Negri.

So, no perfect confirmation, but the essence was very clear. You be the judge.

Or give them a ring :)

    Regards, Alberto

Belgravia Books took down the page with the motoring titles. The owner changed his mind?

As I said: Actually, they didn’t have any motor books for sale. You couldn't order any. Thus, it makes sense that they stopped the website.

Let's not jump the gun here.

The auction still has 7 days left to go.

Let's see what the hammer price is before we now think the books are being given away.

I know of a BNIB copy that changed hands recently for $4000 USD.

Possibly, I was not quite clear on this topic. I am not talking about a "selling floood" having ever existed,
but, as Jag E type hoods started their own flood, this might be a 'new flood', a new selling trend for the Miura book, being the first ever listed on BaT.

Let's wait and see, not trying to be hasty, then reach conclusions. Remember, it is always like this on BaT.
I never said, or even insinuated that books were given away...

I mean all it takes is 2 hungry bidders, just look at the absurd levels this model reached:

Almost, but not quite Terzo Dalia territory, which is far more exclusive.

Yes, perhaps not appropriate when referring to a book?

It’s not not appropriate, just a new acronym for most or all readers. I think!

Actually I have a several classic Ferrari books still unopened in their original boxes--Fitzgerald and Merritt 1st edition, Le Ferrari by Rogliatti and a few others.
I believe that Marcel has a hoard of Ferrari in Camera, another friend has several copies of The Dino Compendium 1st ed. All BNIB.

Keeping a book in the publisher's box is one thing, but not opening the box is another. You could be in for a nasty surprise, as a book may have a production default.

Or having a completely different book in the box by a publishers packing error.

Imagine opening up the box and finding, heaven forbid, a book about Porsche instead. :( :(
