Hi all 1977 Dino 308 GT4 uk RHD. Quick question for you regarding a non aircon UK car. If the car wasn't specced with aircon from the factory, did it have dash vents just above the radio in the centre of the dash? Or was it just a plain smooth panel? Reason I ask is my car has a blanking plate over where someone before me has cut a single din sized slot to accept a radio. And I was wondering what should go back there. My options are. 1. Radio in that slot and replace centre console radio with a single din storage thing. 2. Replace the radio with a working radio in the standard place and put a storage box thingy in the slot that's been butchered into the dash. 3. Agree - Fit vents. Not a radio. I have a friend in UK going to do that and retrofit A/C, send me a private message and I can put you in contact.
