Lin and I got a great F1 Package to the China GP for 2020 then COVID then reschedule to Canada then finally we just did COTA. It was a great time and they did a great job if you aren't picky value per dollar.

I got a theory over a year ago that F1 was going to fight a perfect storm of challenges. Your new Drive to Survive fans wouldn't be that durable, COVID money would dry up, and F1 would overplay its hand with ticket prices. The perfect storm being less fan demand, less money around, and inflated tickets prices unable to reset quick enough.

We have seen some evidence of this 2023 with lower ticket sales and TV ratings. You can blame some on a boring championship, but 2022 was the same. The real evidence will be 2024 how ticket sales and ratings go with a championship that can't be any worse.

Anyway, even though we had bought a 5-digit package with F1 Experiences lately, I couldn't get them to return my calls and wasn't getting any spam marketing to me the last couple years. I think they had many times the demand than supply. Now things have changed and the sales team is back to pounding the streets selling their packages. I'm just now starting to get my salesman almost begging.

Funny how that works-->when times are good, they act like you need them and when times are bad, they're begging you.

Liberty has been offering interesting counters to the fact that social media tag/mentions etc are down. TV ratings down a bit and ticket sales not as strong as evidenced. Next year, if similar to this will yield much more intense scrutiny and those precious team values and sponsor interest could wane a bit? All the celebs jumping in to fund Alpine lol????? Sounds like a peak!??

The beauty of having your own app...you can lie through your teeth and no one would be any wiser except for a would-be buyer.

If the 2026 cars (engines) are really as bad as suspected, the desperation will take a crazy course.

enough of the gouging. its everywhere. big promises that arent delivered.
just spent $2 to go to last nights monday football game. crappy food. crappy drinks. poor showing by the 49ers(division winning team. poor refereeing.
when i can take the family to a football game, baseball game and an f1 race all in the same yr without it costing a months salary then there will be value.
    until then, im staying home.

I think F1 vegas was a success. Stands were full people happy but $2500/tic is pretty steep. It was really fun time and everything in vegas is a "Show", but it's a lot for a sporting event that is honestly better seen on TV. I've been there done that so if I go back it will have to be last minute because I can drive there at a reduced rate. We bought tix when available. I heard 30k packages went for 3k the day before the event. That's what I want to buy.

I can’t say I’m seeing the same thing — my sales guy was offering Mexico as a “only option for paddock club in NA” late last year for the 2024 season. He suggested demand was strong. The price he quoted did NOT interest me this year, lol.

Hmm, I just got this email. At least the person who is taking over my account reached out, Michael hadn't reach out since we had done COTA several years ago.

Rob would you recommend them for COTA this October?
My son wants a father-son trip and I’m looking for an all-inclusive VIP experience.
    Thanks.
Someone recommended Formula Tours in a separate thread I started down page.

F1 Experiences is certainly top notch VIP. I don't think it is a great "value" anymore. Figure upwards $10k for above the pits viewing, pit walk, exquisite buffet, and open bar. It certainly feels VIP, but you are still cattle driving to and from track, waiting outside to be allowed upstairs, and then waiting for pit walk. The food, open bar, watching pits and start, and the AC have their value. Viewing wise I prefer high up turn 12 for 10% of the cost, you also get to experience all the fun and vendors between turn 15 and 19.

    Here was my review 2021

I already put down a $200 deposit for the Vegas GP this year. I know they are making some changes. For one, the start of the events are a couple of hours earlier. I'm hoping for a vintage event or a secondary event to add value to the event. I was pretty happy with the food (which was included) and the entertainment at the track. Just wished there was more racing.

Also they need to figure out how to do community events for locals who won't go or can't go. Something that spread the event out instead of just the Strip area. Right now it seems like they are coming in, cleaning up on $$$, and splitting leaving the mess to be cleaned up. That's not exactly true but its "the perception". So the perception needs to change.

Prices were high. I don't see how they drop. That being said I meant a couple from South Carolina who got some pretty good seats at the last minute for like $1000 each. YMMV.

There was all this talk about "dropped room rates" the week before the F1 event. We had the Super Bowl -- same exact thing happened there. Resorts try to fill up every room at the end so its possible to pick up a last minute deal. Its not unusual with big events. They raise prices, then drop them as the market demands.

there are some $1-2k options, but all it is regular bleacher seats that sell for $500 plus a pit walk and maybe autograph (person not in person).

Booked with them for Silverstone Red Bull Paddock Club. Because of track location, we had to rely on their transportation. Kept us waiting for three hours on the first day. Arrived late for the second day so we missed meeting Checo. And while this is not on them, the Red Bull hospitality was not for us. Full on DJ pretty much the entire time. Did not stop for any of the practices so you could not hear anything. Only time the DJ briefly stopped was for qualifying and the race. Very few people there were there to watch the race. They were there to be seen. Was jealous of the people in all the other hospitalities as it was a very different vibe from Red Bull. Anyway, not doing that again, at least not through F1 Experiences.

I used them once...nightmare. They were not available to answer phone calls during the F1 Weekend which was promised. Hotels were correct, but the promised shuttles etc were a disaster. I would never, ever use them again. The last three years I have used Formula Tours, excellent, can not say enough about them. Very well organized and the owners are with you all weekend and readily available.

F1 is not about racing anymore, even though there are cars going around the track with the odd pass here and there . All about status and dick swinging . I will never attend another race .
