I doubt it too, Jay Kay from Jamiroquai even went as far as to write a song about his black Enzo which AFAIK he ordered new.
Jay Kay went to the factory for his Enzo delivery hand over. The interior was a strong shade of green to further mark his specification as something unique.
Didn't Jay Kay get an early car? Could the experience with his have caused the factory to limit future black finishes on Enzos?
Jay Kay got 132051 in early 2003 if I'm remembering it right, and, there's nothing I know of that caused the factory to limit the use of Nero as a color for Enzos, IIRC there are at least 12 Nero Enzos (Marcel might point out the exact number). The first black Enzo I know of is an early car, 128783, displayed at the the 2002 Paris Auto show, and said to be owned by Ferrari SpA F1 race principal Jean Todt. Regarding Enzo 131631 coming up for auction, the gentleman who owned the car and caused it to be repainted from red to black in Las Vegas years ago wasn't the 1st owner, and, he chose Nero simply because he personally liked that color, I know this to be so because he owned another Italian car also color-changed from red to black which I also sold for him, a Countach LP400 Periscopa 1120110.
Enzo: 4 units born Nero DS 1250. 1 unit born Nero Opaco. 34 units born Nero Pastello 1250 140. 4 units born Nuovo Nero Daytona 506 140. 43 units in total in some sort of "black". Marcel Massini

There's a lot of misinformation disseminated in the Supercar community, not just by sales people, but also by owners, enthusiasts, and more besides, social media and forums are the main platforms which cause it to be amplified, but the good news is, the same platforms can be used to correct misinformation, meanwhile thank you for a big contribution you make towards that effort.
In Spain we had one Nero Pastello Enzo, chassis 135263 that wore spanish plates "0019-DDP" unfortunately we have no photos of it, and we don't know the current location (and we've investigated a lot ) we just know who owned it while it was in Spain. If someone has photos it has to be you, any chance you have any photos or info that you can share?

Well, I dare to say that I know both cars really well and horrendous is not the word that come to my mind when I look at an SP3, even next to an Enzo. Different time, different style... And very different driving expériences. Many people could think that an Enzo looks horrendous when sitting next to a 250SWB. ..
