So what do we think of the shape of the new 1:8 1962 250 GTO from Agora Models? Available for pre-order on their site with first deliveries supposed to start in July. Kits include badging, race numbers and license plates for chassis #3987 the 1962 Paris Winner of the Rodriguez brothers. There is also a limited edition of 150 pieces of a Blu Genziana version. Do you have a link to their website? For some reason a search doesn´t come up with anything useful. I did come across this Ebay add of a Centauria GTO: https://www.ebay.nl/itm/355459978877?itmmeta=01HR2T4HTMNWX5Z1HA86JVXF02&hash=item52c310d67d:g:iHIAAOSwR6hj-2gH&itmprp=enc%3AAQAIAAAAwEPluGvghxHtvq2iDwQSK06yj9Loz2rQKUkx5tolxxTlMd44jp%2BwPqy0CtCDAksqu9F14a3zw3W2ZHTNilMbVCD78ClG1tJG%2Brmcwx2Twe5ny5%2F0qguCsw6jTby%2B7YnxxqK3prn5o7RWDr7vU7sgVtMDOTHv1mkXiAXLQDmRTHC98pGQXiXmb5g73ZP7WeU1I5QEUxksG4V0jr6UgIfLq5b4yDhaiwQk%2BmALob5ph7SBJahRfj9aBqp7L8XRh2OsxA%3D%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR7CdktrAYw
Centauria seem to have no presence in the USA and limited presence outside of Italy. Many of these models seem to make the rounds between multiple "suppliers" - some of which have been publishing companies while others have been nothing but marketing call-centers. All contracting with one or two factories in China for production and, probably, a logistics company to handle subscriptions. I'm assuming that the 312T4 is also the same as the one previously sold by Centauria. Strangely the 917KH sold by Ixo has differences from the one being sold by Agora although whether they are totally different I could not say.
Just received Two of these big kits the other day. Lots of parts. Overall it's pretty darn good, and certainly much better than any of the Agora kits. That said, there is still room for refining the detail and some general improvement. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm looking for an unbiased review of this model's fit and finish, do the doors fit well into the roof and color variance between parts, etc. LeGrand's show model in Germany was repainted for the event, which I thought was unusual .
Hy everyone, 2nd ex is over now ! some improvements in details compared to the 1st. And the same pleasure in making. Some pictures... @Lusso123 do you mind if I ask if you purchased these direct from Germany? Actually I guess what I'm asking is if Brady Ward is the only source in the USA for this kit.
I bought mine from Model Motorcars in FL who work with Brady. According to the people at LeGrand, he's the US source. I do know a few people have bought these kits from European dealers for significantly less than Brady & Model Motorcars are selling them for, but I just didn't want to be bothered with an overseas order on these.

The Model is pretty high quality. the steering wheel is very nice all metal and a resin - wood rim ... working horn! next step is to weather the engine with various ink washes ... overall I think this will be a very nice model. I'm not looking forward to the wheels - the spokes are a nightmare from what I hear ... but we'll cross that bridge ...
Hello, Mine is also in the workshop. Finally, finished for the first 3 packs. Now we have to wait until July for the rest The seats are modified to be closer to reality. I also lightly tinted the carburetors (lighter than the pic), which are equipped with their small springs. Obviously, I don't install the horrible harnesses which have absolutely nothing to do with a 250 GTO ! And finally two metal clamps on the oil filler neck as well as a cable for opening the doors, more suitable than the plastic hose offered.
