There is a list of things that need fixing up, from what I saw.
Stickies, side air intakes could do with replacing. Front left panel needs attention due to tyre hitting top, list goes on. Mechanic also said it had some UK rust from underneath. IMPOV it’s $140k tops

There's nothing more expensive than a cheap Ferrari.

Interesting thanks. I thought that these were made from aluminum so I wonder what's rusting? Maybe they mean corrosion on the body panels (water under the paint?) or suspension components that could be replaced???

So $140k purchase, $8k stamp duty and transport (Vic to NSW). $32k to sort (just made that number up) total $180k for a imported well sorted manual 360 Spider with low KMs. So roughly $70k - $80k cheaper than a Australian delivered one. Interesting...

When these are complied and they change the speedo from MPH to KPH do we know how the mileage is verified and not tampered with? Is it in the ECU and is a simple switch? How do we know that the mileage shown is in KMs and not Miles i.e. odometer shows 25,000 kms but is actually 25,000 miles???

hey doc any reasong why? I was told by a dealer locally in WA who has a 488 for cheaper that they should be around 350. (I am too scared to make an offer for that haha!)

The question is 458 vs 488. I dont think I want a turbo but they are newer!

    And a 348 is newer than a 288GTO.

that 488 you refer to is a good one. I came close to talking to them about it as well but came to my senses.

make sure you really do your due diligence when buying a cheapy or an import… 32K is honestly nothing if you get a bad one.

no kidding there really are some dodgy ones out there. You can blow through 32k in a couple of orders to eurospares and an oil change.

And if you are afflicted with OCD then god help you…..

ha that is good. Somehow 458 prices have jumped instead of dropping down...

Word is that barring some kind of economic event, 458 prices likely bottomed out a few years ago.

I mean come on, 4 bitcoin will get you a crazy good one.

And they call F cars overpriced.

Car is in Western Australia, not Victoria, so the ad is definitely a scam. Rohan asked a question on the auction and is the name of the Carsales "seller" so let's see how long the fake ad lasts before Carsales takes it down.
