This is the one that was for sale at Chicago Motorcars for some time (listed at $349,000). It's quite a nice example.
Whoops! Meant to quote the link above that, this one, posted by tomw: https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/mi24/miami/lots/r0086-2004-ferrari-360-challenge-stradale/1445483 My apologies.
Seemingly it is a Euro spec car. Euros don't have amber side markers and have the optional headlight washers, where as US cars have amber side markers and no headlight washers. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
2004 Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale for sale on BaT Auctions - ending March 2 (Lot #137,713) | Bring a Trailer
Any idea whose signature that is on the dedication plate? It's not Tony Kanaan's (based on other internet pics of his sig) even though he owned the car at some point. CS registry also says the rear stripe is reversed and I see that in the pics. I have never seen that before. Not sure how rare (and/or "wrong"!?!) that is?
The CS seems to be all over instagram in 2024. Also a few have sold recently including the Autosport Designs and Merit Partners cars. The Ferrari of Denver car also seems to have sold. https://www.autosportdesigns.com/vehicles/2101/2004-ferrari-360-challenge-stradale https://www.meritpartners.com/in0-138428
Will be curious to see what this one does: https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/mi24/miami/lots/r0086-2004-ferrari-360-challenge-stradale/1445483
Just got this alert... The price is in CAD. Image Unavailable, Please Login Based on the mileage it's most likely one of these below. They are the only 3 TDF I can see that have under 12,000km listed.
One these recently sold here in Japan for 295JPY with 12k km. Might be that one. Was on the market for one day.
For 295!??? That's a steal... Holy smokes... And in CAD that's 266k... And they'd be flipping it here in Canada for a good chunk. Ayo!
This car has an invoice from 2014 noting a body shop reinstalled wires incorrectly in the engine compartment which was causing the reverse and running lights to not work properly. Makes me wonder about accident or damage history if a body shop worked on the car. Carfax is clean for what that's worth.
So the factory applied stripes on these cars via two versions? One which doesn't stop at the rear emblem and one which does? Current car on BAT claims to be a factory stripe which stops at the F emblem in the frunk. Never knew that.
