LH would be in the scenery chasing GOATS.

With Lando in tow. Ditto for CL and GR.

    Alonso, he'd be the GOAT.

I think Micheal Andretti shoulD make a phone call to Luca De Meo, the Renault boss.
The Alpine F1 team could be on the market before long at this rate.

Would a top driver win 22 and 23? Yes. (assuming Max has taken a holiday). In the same dominant fashion? Whilst it's impossible to prove...I would say I have high, high doubts anyone can match the robot like consistency from Max. It's absolutely relentless. If you look at his lines (Even V. Perez in the same car), Max essentially under-drives the car. He's leaving performance on the table. He brakes early. He doesn't use all of the track on turn in. He has a built in margin of error so that IF he needs to use it to correct or really push...he has that.

The lines that Perez takes, theoretically he should be faster. Max's ability to rotate the car in a shorter distance gives him that edge. That's why when Perez tries to match him, he has to dig even deeper...but then he'll be off the track. Or out braking himself. Because he's already at the limit.

A lot of teams followed the 2022/23 aero philosophy from Red Bull.

    Red Bull has moved on.

To be better, you have to think smarter. Other teams couldn't do that, so they copied...and now they're still behind.

Budget cap prevents that William, its a bit like trying to catch Usain Bolt with your shoelaces tied together!!

The RB has the edge on aero, just like the Merc's did on the hybrid engine, someone in the chasing pack needs to invent a new philosophy but with wind tunnel and budget constraints its nigh impossible to improve your car by 2 secs per lap (min)

Another season for RB is on the cards.

Max is already on an 8 win streak now. 2 more and he matches his own record of 10 in a row.

It seems very feasible he will set a new record soon....

If this race is an indication of what is to come this year, we will witness another year of breaking all kind of records, again.

Lando shut up and drive or are you this blind??

McLaren’s Lando Norris thinks the pack has converged despite a fresh display of Max Verstappen dominance in Bahrain, predicting that was “as good as the Red Bull gets”.

Well, they just spend 400+ million on an aging driver.

I'd be willing to bet that if that 400 million was waved in the faces of Verstappen, Newey & Wache they would've come running. It's all about meeting the number. At some point you just can't say no.

RB have fewer development hours than anyone, and this will be the 3rd consecutive season of that deficiency.

A team that doesn't try to improve is already beaten. Of course it has to be done within the constraints.
Maybe the existing technical team needs some culling, and look for new talents with fresh ideas.
Whatever, the solution is in the quality of the technical staff; F1 is like an arms race.

So after all the hype about the new cars, it appears they've spent an enormouse about of money...and got nothing for it. Looks the same as
last year. Alpine and Haas race to the back, Ricardo shows no improvement, Sauber keeps changing paint and is still just as slow. McLaren
and Mercedes fight for 3rd. It's time for Alonzo's Plan B because AM is going backwards. Max wins walking away from everyone else. Pedro
follows the pattern of all the great number 2s and never threatens Max, and Ferrari pretends they are racing but their only challenge is each
other. I listened to it more than watched.

    Depressing race!

Russell/Hamilton and Mercedes confirmed they ran the wrong bodywork for cooling the internals which lead to everything important overheating. Battery power and engine power down, so I have some hope they can turn this around. Cost them nearly half a second/lap

Leclerc just had a bad weekend. Brake issues wrecked his day but I’m glad he finished where he did.

I don't know what will come first, Newey's retirement, or Max walking away from F1.
But we may have to wait for either of those to see the end of the House of Red Bull.
    That's not a comforting thought.

    An F1 journalist—

Formula 1 is the most exciting sport in the world… yeah, until the cars start racing again.

After an F1 off-season which has lurched with intrigue, a daily thrill ride of chaos amid the biggest driver switch and potentially the most salacious scandal in the sport’s modern history - the Formula 1 show itself was absolutely dross on its return in Bahrain.

The intra-Ferrari duel gave some flickers of excitement but after the first corner, it was another protracted Red Bull procession, and that’s what the whole season is going to be, most likely.

What’s the point in a mammoth 24-race calendar if they’re all going to be this boring?
