That's the first thing that appears today (with a 2024 copyright indication at the bottom of the page) when going to eagusa.com. They might have other concerns than updating their web page though. Just 49 more posts are needed now
The availability of complete kits for the V12s is news to me. The first thing I noticed is the 612 kit uses cables (as does the 599) and the 575 uses rods: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Last I heard the grapevine said the 612 would use rods. I also noticed that the "Choose Options" tab for each kit includes the line "We stand by our work with a 2-year parts and labor warranty on all conversions and additional service work." Nothing like a "legacy" warranty! 47 posts to go!
Art deserves this based on his own behavior and how he has treated others. I have never and would never treat people like he has. We're just different kinds of men.
I have no horse in this race, but from most accounts, those who had their cars converted were happy with the outcome overall and the conversion works...it really is disgusting though how so many people here are taking pleasure in others downfall and misery...just piling on and piling on...its not like the guy scammed anyone, its obvious his business got too big, he was in over his head, took much longer than a conversion was supposed to take, but in the end he delivered..bad customer service i'd say he's guilty of , but all this on and on and accusations and hate is bewildering. Many of you guys literally revel and take joy in others misery
Lol. I disagree with your assertion about the moral characters of other people based on their sharing of bad experiences. There is a very conspicuously common theme of these bad experiences shared thus far and it help this community tremendously about what to avoid. Sharing bad experiences when a company is folded is now amusingly considered sadistic as you blatantly called these customers taking joy in others downfall. What do you know about these customers in person? You don't know much, I surmise. Thus far, I have not mentioned one thing about your character as I don't know you. I simply challenged your conclusion reached. If you have similarly bad experiences as these other customers, and you chose to not to speak up, you may have a bit more leg to stand on for your opinions. In this case, you just used a straw man argument for you to launch attack on others moral character when you don't know any of them in person. I found the message of your post irritating and pompous. Tsk tsk.
how many actual customers here had a "fraudulent" experience with EAG? I didn't get my car back on time doesn't count.
To be clear Definition - fraudulent - obtained, done by, or involving deception, especially criminal deception. +1, i.e., me
I was left with the promise to complete my e-diff, which never happened. I don't know if I'd call it fraud or not. To me fraud implies knowingly setting out to defraud someone. I don't think that was the case. However, I don't think Chris was implying fraud in the sense of broken promises to customers. If however, the business was being run as a sort of Ponzi scheme (i.e. taking new customer's deposits to pay for previous customers work) to bolster Art's lifestyle, that's sort of a gray area. However, I believe Chris knows more about the internal workings than Art's #1 fanboy and defender - ttforcefed. Art told me not to drive my car until he fixed the e-diff. After 6 months of broken promises to fix it (and he and multiple opportunities because he literally was within driving distance), I purchased a Scuding e-diff disabler and drove the car. Then I sold it to NGSC, with the full knowledge that the e-diff was disabled and he resold the car to someone else. Hopefully, they too knew the e-diff was disabled. When Dan made his ad for the car on Youtube, he made no mention that the e-diff was disabled.
Well, we know about several EAG business partners that probably feel scammed, so why wouldn’t there be clients? You know, the old saying, if it walks and talks like a…… And how is that 458 NOT fraudulent? I have some Theranos stock for you if you buy my bridge. This does NOT appear to be a case of just a bad businessman, and you are damaging your reputation here by staying on this ride.
Because i sent an open invitation to the cesspool of fchat and never got one customer who even uttered the word fraud. If after 20+ years you think i care at all about what a message board population/keyboard cowboys might think of me, then you are gravely mistaken.
This keyboard warrior's got receipts my friend and doesn't hide behind a fake name. The fact you are here doubling and tripling down on this mess tells me you care very much.
Lordy. Of course i know who Chris is as and i had spoken to dan a few times during covid. But i dont know chris from adam.
Im speaking from my first hand knowledge of being a customer and having helped out a bunch of people here. I have never benefited financially from anything EAG related so why wld i ignore my data set in favor of anyone else’s?
Have a feeling that a lot of clients who have been suffering in silence who feel defrauded will rise up now that EAG has been exposed….this would be very similar to the way it happened in CNC. And if FChat is such a cesspool, you know where the door is.
I think a lot of customers may fear that talking about their experience may just devalue their car. It's a catch 22. How many of these conversions have disabled e-diffs that weren't disclosed either to the customers before or after conversions?
