<To me its intriguing and sad. The last 'race' was '21 Abu Dhabi which RB (Wheatley) conspired with F1 (Masi) to ... not make it a race anymore. Since then, there has been no real racing (except for Carlos' victory). Some are conflicted about the existence of DTS: love all the new attention it brings to F1, loathe it because 'we' know some of the storylines are unnatural. F1 (and the FIA) have left us with no real racing since '21. DTS is so last year. The current drama (ok, I agree with you Soap opera....) is, uh, current! Since we dont know the exact outcome of this Soap, it IS the most exciting storyline in F1 right now, sadly. If I interpret your comments as being frustrated at the distraction of the track - I do agree.

 

The Fact that Horner and RB are making statement given the Situation, In a globe main stream media business with multi million dollar sponsors (cough)
Then they claim an internal investigation has cleared him and she not fired not suspended without pay. (cough)
But suspended with full pay after an INTERNAL investigation clearing the accused ???? (cough)
No police investigation, no lawyers making the public statements, No lawsuit by Horner to clear his name (cough)

None of this adds up. So much has and continues to not been handled correctly.

THAT is the story. It's a power play. Horner tried to take control of the Red Bull team and RB Austria, with Jos have been fighting back. This is nothing to do with 'teenage texts' or what Horner gets up to in plane bathrooms - that is all noise.

Let's hope the team implodes soon!
