I notice that, after his first F1 race, Bearman is only two points behind Ham.
Maybe they should be re-thinking that hiring choice. :p

Today's race showed nothing new except Ollie Bearman. Now Ferrari needs to give him a seat asap. And that means Haas. The biggest problem at Haas is Carl Haas. It would be a great place to put Bearman in 2025 (or sooner), but Haas needs to be bought out. Ferrari could bring Alfa Romeo back in to front the team...even woo Andretti away from GM to run it.

The other story of the race weekend is the growing problem between Marko and RB, at the same time as the very public flirtation between Toto and Marko...and by virtue of that, with Max. That could also create a shuffle in the engineering and design departments of both teams. It could also give Carlos Max's seat in 2025. And it could leave Ferrari as the stronger of the 3 teams going into 2025, with its design team intact. That would be a gift from the gods.

I love that broadcast has caught on and coverage of the top three was nearly zero other than to check they were still there...

Anybody can win in that Red Bull, except if they're Max Verstappen's teammate.

Driver of the day - Bearman…. An absolute gem of a drive given the circumstances. Really loving the kid.

(Second) driver of the day - Mag lol. What a hero (sort of)

Tool of the day - Stroll! This freaking guy!

It's about time for someone in the team to state that Lance is WDC material.

Today Beer-Man was F1s saviour. Without him, that would have been a candidate for dullest race of all time.

As for Stroll, surely papa stroll must soon get the message that he’s wasting his money with him in that seat. It’s time to put him out of his misery.

Very true. With the results being so predictable, watching how Oliver Bearman was doing became the main attraction for this race. It certainly was for me !!

Maybe Liberty should think about allowing "wild-card entries" from time to time to spice up the races.
MotoGP used that at some point, and it was interesting to watch.

I think you meant to type Gene Haas.

Carl Haas is no longer with us.

    What a day
Powered by Honda creating a pattern for the season P1, 2 two races in a row (and 15, 16 today)
Podium for Charles and the Bearman at P7, a great beginning of is hoped to be a great story
Tough to keep thinking Perez will be out of Red Bull when he is performing so well
Now Ferrari has the drama of the planned entrance of the post great who will help sell crap loads of street cars for the brand vs the young gun who would likely bring more points to the team on race days

Haas got a point today and seem to have figured out their tire issues. They look to be ahead of Sauber, Williams and Alpine.

Bearman was really good today but he finished 7th in a podium car, let's calm down the hype a bit there. Sainz would have been 4th, Ferrari is clearly the 2nd best car.

If RB keep winning the controversy will fade way, amazing how winning does that.

No. The hype is well earned. 1st F1 race with couple hours notice and essentially no track time in the car. Nearly out qualified Elton and then beat much more experienced racers on track. The lesser formula car is 6 seconds slower around the track. He was able to master this. Oh and don’t forget the other formula doesn’t have hybrid regenerating power that he had to learn as well. Ohhhh he didn’t meet your standards. Ohhh no.

The RB controversy is going no where. It will linger for the next year. Lawsuits will start. There will be people leaving the organization.

Self inflicted wounds all around probably.
That's what happens when people lose sight of the common goal and start focussing on boosting their own ego.
