The Sylvain Garant Albi acccident in video (only posting it since it is not fatal, he was quite shaken though). Here in this short French TV video relating -but not showing- the passing of Lucien Bianchi in an Alfa at the April 1969 test days at Le Mans you can see 312P 0868 on the Mulsanne straight and Bianchi, a former GTO driver, speaking the day before. https://www.ina.fr/ina-eclaire-actu/video/caf97021199/deces-de-lucien-bianchi
Trying to open the driver's door on 3769 GT. Garant still in the car. Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login
Don't know but apparently it raced again two months later. Saw it won it's class in the Macon-Solutre hill climb 20 minutes from where I live. FYI that's the real Macon, in Burgundy, in case any Georgia USA boys get confused;-)
Kind of an old picture..... So kids, you got a new time machine and go back to 1962 and see this Autosport advert by Ron Hoare, would you take D-Type XKD515 or 250 Testa Rossa #0736TR? How original are those vents on #0736TR? Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have it as running May 2nd (Picardie) and May 23rd (Limousin) - but have no photos. First photos I have are Rallye du Limousin (May 30th) Image Unavailable, Please Login
0736 TR: In October 1961 Colonel Ronnie Hoare had aluminium side panels fitted to mask the pontoon fender bodywork, IRS Independent Rear Suspension and TR59 Dunlop disc brakes were also installed, as well as the air vents. Marcel Massini
