Lol, should have gotten an attorney long long time ago. The mirage created by the dubious power one thinks he has via social media is just so deceiving and the damn mouth has to open. Take months for a baby learns to talk but take years for one to just shut up.

 

I moderated the PM being posted with a warning not to do it again. The person who posted the PM is in good standing, and the user whose PM was posted seemed to handle it himself before the post was reported.

Again, not any of my business.... but thanks for posting. I just thought it odd when someone pops into a thread with a post calling Fchat a cesspool and then proceeds to constantly harangue anyone who disagrees with them.

 

Cesspool is worse than “**** off you fat loser”?

 

We work hard to keep FChat from becoming a cesspool. As with any community, about 95% of our users are great and 5% cause problems. In this case we had two great users sort of get into it over EAG and so a different kind of moderation seemed like it would work in this specific instance so it was handled differently than in other cases.

But since you bring up a cesspool, what can you say about EAG other than it really was a cesspool? Sure they did some cool stuff but there was a lot of drama from the start. Just look at the differences in experiences people in this thread had.

 

And for the record i didnt call the entirety of fchat a cesspool, i was addressing the cesspool portion of fchat, to be clear.

 

Not just differences, but diametric differences. Plus when people were defending Art and EAG, juvenile name calling techniques were all deployed to those who casted doubt on Art. No reciprocity to those who defended Art, at least not in the public.

Besides enjoying my IPA and chicken wings while watching this EAG show like a reality show on TV, certain members are a great surprise for us to glean into their inner brain working.

 

You can't criticize all the players in this game while openly admitting to drinking IPA [emoji12]

The comment wasn't about EAG it was about Fchat in general despite him trying to walk it back now....still denigrating however large a or small swath of users is uncalled for. And just happened again.

But carry on. Again, I didn't report it and I don't really care so I'm out. I have no dog in the EAG fight, or this fight either.

 

Back to the merits of EAG...

I noticed that EAG has gained over 1000 followings on Instagram since the debacle became public, so I took a look at the composition of that population and there is an IMMENSE number of shill/fake accounts following them. Feels aligned with Art's obsession with self-promotion as well as another example of misleading the not-so-savvy public (presumably in his eyes, thinking he can distort/contradict the facts again with narcissistic gaslighting).
