Australia was, is, and will always be the season opener for me. Just like Interlagos is the season closer. All these desert races before and after are just money grabs, no soul at any of those events.

No not if they set up both with an experiment lol. The engineers are driving this because of the data from Race 1 and 2. We can be flippant or actually objective if even you dont like LH for whatever reason.

This is nothing new in the Cost Engineer's Championship. Early races are tests. There is not enough testing or money to truly fix a car that is not competitive from the start. Thats blatantly apparent in this series now. If you have a .5 or more deficit now, you are not going to catch MaxBull lol(who isnt using full capability).

Not by summer when you run out of money and now must defer resources to the next car. Mclaren, Ferrari and Mercedes have deficits built into their designs. They dont need a 90% new car, they need a 100% new car and one fully tested. Not happening until 26 maybe. My guess is the entire aero packages are not optimal to compete with Max Bull = suspension, floor and all wings. Those packages are not synched to not just be competitive but to-- catch, pass and maintain the lead.
