Good question. I do not know.
Maybe they don’t ship outside the US.

 

Hopefully sales are run by competent people ready to ship globally. I would love a copy.

 

Because it’s a Ferrari Club of America publication, maybe they won’t ship overseas

 

That would be very narrow minded and regrettable. By the way the words overseas and foreign don't belong in the Ferrari world, which is global, like this forum.

 

Of course, I was just speculating.

Is it just ads and stories of people who paid to be in it? I would only want it if it had a listing of all the members from 1962 until 2022, whether still members, or not.

When the publication was first announced and members' profiles, pictures & purchases were solicited, there was no mention of profiles or listings of historical members. My impression was that FCA members paid to submit their pictures and profiles to be included in the book. I don't know if their VINs were listed. I decided to not participate or purchase.

 

From the few pages I've seen it looks like BS.

 

Book on the scratch built model of 375MM 0402AM one-off model John Shirley commissioned many years ago. Book is for sale on eBay now. eBay item number:266712462950. I did build the model & write the book... BUT... I have NO vested interest in this sale. Books were individually numbered, and the full print run was never completed. Much less that 200 printed.

 

Thanks, all. Don't need to take up the space with a dud, let alone spend $125 for a doorstop. Interested to see what John's opinion is when he gets it.

If John M 2 ordered his copy a while ago and lives in America is yet to receive it why would yours come already going all the way to Switzerland ?

You guys should live in Australia, then you'll see what delays in shipping are all about.

I’m looking for a nice copy of this…clean, undamaged, good dust jacket, etc….at a reasonable price if anyone has or knows of one for sale. The ones I’ve found on the web aren’t reasonably priced in my opinion.

I assume that is one of the editions of 'My Terrible Joys', in which case, do you mean that particular edition or will other editions do? If so, it is worth checking under the various different titles ('My Terrible Joys', 'The Enzo Ferrari Memoirs' etc.).

If this book ever gets published and if this is the dust jacket I hope they use some editorial discretion and take that stealthy vine out of the picture. It looks like it’s about to steal Enzo’s cap or maybe tickle his ear….
