Maybe your camera needs restoring, first? ;)

I can’t see any of the wire colours in your photos, so that’s no help to us. I can’t even see how many pins there are on the plugs.

2.7 owners... What's that black plastic mount for? Is it just to keep the carpet in shape?

Blue/yellow (or yellow/blue) might be the seat belt.

Still looking for the other plug...

I don't think this plug is used. It looks like provisional wiring for the tyre pressure monitoring system (which no F355 has... unless it was fitted to the Challenge cars?)

See component 10013 at the bottom of the diagram.

It's the first photograph of this plug I've seen.

Yes, that's what I mean by provisional. The 2.7 has provisional wiring for an immobiliser system, but it was never fitted to the 2.7 cars. The provisional (17 pin) plug for the immobiliser does have some jumper wires on it, however, for fuel pump control.

Since the plug has power on it, it may be best to wrap it with Scotch 70 or similar electrical tape to protect it from shorting.

Don't know if this is any help but the WSM shows this for 96 on cars. The box #7 is an interface unit to the Motronic and #8 is the alarm ECU. The wire, #9, is a diagnostic connection. So, yes, maybe future use on a 2.7 car.

My 5.2. car also has that light. It's a provisional light. Looking at the Challenge parts manual, the TPMU was not fitted to the Challenge, therefore no F355s have it.

For reference, provisional immobiliser connector 59302 is located behind the relay panel. No provisional wiring goes further aft.
