Jokes on you, the new mule is actually the F167 VS Touring.

Someday, maybe you’ll finally agree that those cars are not mules but prototypes with the final bodywork under the camouflage panels…

The fact that they are prototypes does not invalidate that they are also mules, for the reasons I mentioned previously.

Stopped by my dealer on Thursday, said that I might be interested in putting down a depost for the F167....strangely, he said, I hope you don't get rid of your 812SF. He said, its all haptic and will lose the edge that the F12 and 812SF have. He also said I would be about 18-20 months of waiting in the cue.

From this comment I assume a craptic interface, ugly instrument panel and more lexus like refinement. Pass.

Correct, I was pointing out the 296 interior for reference. Sadly, it looks like buttons are no more based on the posts above

I hate haptic as much as anyone but it has become the de facto standard for most high end cars. It’s taken me about a year to get use to my MB controls both on the steering wheel and dashboard. I have distilled their use to the essential-AC and music(not an issue in Ferraris as I never turn the music on)
Despite that, the haptics on the steering wheel still alter the volume and such just by merely brushing a haptic button by mistake as I turn the wheel- annoying as hell!

Nice try to integrate more concept! I think it could go in that direction. In my quick sketch I also tried to take this concept character of the F167 a little more into account. I also think that four taillights could light up in the rear strip. And I also tried to integrate the trunk lid... But who knows if we're heading in the right direction...

Great job, as usual. Love the taillight treatment!

I’m baffled by the rear window/C-pillar treatment. Trying a few sketches now but distracted by the Sebring race, LOL, and lack of focus between different ideas. o_O

Sensational design. You and ingegnere could be part of the Centro Stile team.

It was exactly this possibility of arrangement and shape of the taillights that I described in my post #6933 (double on each side, inside the black stripe, similar to the SP48 Unica).

If this is the right direction (perhaps inserting the C-pillar from the ingegnere design on the post #7045, which resembles that of the 250 GTO Series 2) it will be an iconic design.

But the C-pillar you made is also very consistent with the design and very beautiful, with the air passing through the column, like in the 599.

In a car costing $500k+ there is no place for cost cutting. Frankly that’s all haptics are - cost cutting. Poor from Ferrari if that’s the direction they take.

Also, in my opinion, haptics are a safety hazard as they are really hard to operate without taking eyes off the road.

Finally, and this is the big one, I find pressing the big red start button is one of the finest pieces of theatre in all of the automotive world. It’s an integral part of what makes driving my F12 an event.

This has come from the involvement of ex and current apple employees. What Ford could not buy, Apple are taking from within.

Isn’t the ‘breadvan’ mule wearing panels to hide the GTS version of 167? There does appear to be a break in the A-pillar camouflage just where the roof panel meets the top of the windscreen frame.

Wow, that looks like a rendering of the real deal—all the details match.

Wow, great! Nice rendering with nice fenders! These three dimensional taillights are fantastic, you looked closely here on the prototype. I saw it too, but I didn't know how to implement it. But you've done it! These taillights are a perfect mix and a new creation of Vision Gran Turismo and Daytona SP3. This could be very close to the final vehicle. But I think that the rear window will be a little smaller and the targa bar will somehow still have a bit of tricky. But great work! Keep us entertained... and one of the shots will nail it!
