Color matters.

Your car has 5k less miles, has Tubi headers ($6k), and Capristo muffler ($5k). It’s also in a far rarer color in a shade of red, doesn’t have warped passenger airbag, and 2.7 .

Given the choice today and the price points, your car is still a better buy. More upside potential imo.

 

Btw. BAT raised the buyer cap fee to $7500 max, which this car hit ($150k mark). Effectively, the car sold for $160k. Pretty much in line with Silver/black Berlinettas the past 2 years.

 

So let’s see here.

$160k - Silver Black 5.2 Berlinetta. 35k mi. 2024 engine out service. Warped airbag.

OR…

$172k - Rosso Barchetta/Tan 2.7. 30k mi. In need of engine out service in maybe a year. Capristo muffler + Tubi headers. Pristine airbag.


Second choice 10 out of 10 times.

I know this car loosely. The owner is the president of our local chapter's Ferrari club. He spent a BOATLOAD of money on this car. I remember it came from AZ. He redid the interior including leather. He's selling to upgrade.

 

This car has its front suspension raised. The fender gap is even bigger than in the back.
Terrible! He should fix this.

 

It may be a little high- I do see what you mean. However the F355 today sits lower than it did in period because the springs sag over time. We would have to measure to make sure.
Next time I am over there on the weekend I'll take a look.

 

Front raised or rear sagging, either way the rake is the opposite of what it should be.

There is also a 1997 Rosso Corsa/Tan gated GTS that I saw earlier at Ferrari of Denver that looks decent. No actual clue on history

Ask is around $220k

I vaguely remember seeing that crash on instagram. The driver lost control on a slick on ramp and went into the wall. I believe the owner said his insurer was Hagerty.

I'm surprised to see they totaled it out, that damage looks totally fixable. Guessing 40k to repair and another 30k decreased value payout?

Did the airbag deploy?

 

You can't buy the majority of the parts this car needs from Ferrari anymore so I figure Insurance isn't going to chase for used parts to repair. Also the roof is suspect I doubt its just Unlatched the A pilar area could be bent.
