Carlos Sainz average race result is 2.0 in 2024. Max Verstappen's is 7.00. Carlos is clearly the better driver.
Just a question......why in the world would Ferrari want Lewis Hamilton? At one point he was an outstanding driver but at this point he is not in the same league as Carlos and Max. I'm surprised Max's brake lasted as long as it did. He said it was engaged and would not release at the start of the race.
The power of a F1 car will overcome the resistance of one seized wheel, but the friction is so intense that it ignites the brake assembly, and everything nearby, as photos have show.
You tell me. This was the car designed after HIS requirements. Forget winning races, at bare minimum he should be beating his teammate, comprehensively. He's touted as one of the best of all time constantly. In his prime he regularly got beaten by teammates he shouldn't be beaten by. Now that he's aging, it's getting worse. This is the worst 400 million spend in sporting history I'm sure of it already.
Yep the first post shows it!!! The moment Max DNF'd yesterday, you just KNEW some people would start with: "See, the Horner thing is causing problems and RB is going to fall apart" Bold prediction (!!): Max will win the next race going away. (Pretty brave prediction on my part...)
I respectfully disagree. This 400 million will bring stylish fashion, exquisite taste in music, inclusion and diversity to the Scuderia. So worth every penny.
Yes. "Occasionally beaten by teammates" would be more factual. You don't win 7 WDC titles by being regularly beaten. Although it's fair to say that Hamilton's form is now declining, IMO. Ferrari will soon find out !
You know what's weird with Sainz winning? Russell has crashed in every race Sainz has won. I believe it's been 3x(??).
Coincidental but George has had more than his quota of crashes. The most egregious was Silverstone 2022.
You don't know about having fun with a thread like this? "Lighten up Francis" (Srgt. Hulka from Stripes) And be careful with that "r" word. It's gone out of style when in a public forum. In your own private dwelling you can use whatever word you want. It's mentally or physically challenged for future sense.
The rear brakes are also really small compared to the past since most of rear braking is energy harvesting.
Red Bull is still the better car...when the best driver is in it. Ferrari is the second best car...which ever driver is in it. Because of the lack of time for pre-season testing, none of the cars in these first three races, have been fully and properly developed. Alpine and Williams and Haas show how badly this lack of testing effects the weaker teams. McLaren and Aston Martin and Mercedes shows how it effects teams 3 through 5. And the ticket buyers are paying to watch the mistakes imposed on the teams by F1 rules.
Have you ever wondered IF any FChat members have children or adults or family members that have mental or physical disabilities? They might take offense to that "r" word no? He could of used words like "bass ackwards" or "stupidest" in place of the "r" word.
I don’t disagree with you at all, and I wasn’t excusing his intended word. I was just commenting on the (somewhat fortunate) misspelling.
Rumor is that Massa's lawyers have contacted Max, to inform him that he should demand the cancellation of the race results following Alonso's move and Russell's crash. Indeed, it's totally unfair for Max that after this Alonso's move, Max did not score any point while Sainz and Leclerc did.
John Elkann interfered and knows little about racing and is socially friends with Lewis.. Lewis is done and will only last a year at Ferrari at best.
