From what I can read of the SC the only advantage it has for retired people on a pension or limited Super is the warm weather -which would explain the odd poor Victorian still up there, who moved during and after Covid.

 

I intend for my last cheque to bounce...

 

I eat at the Palm Beach SC regularly - great food, unbeatable location, and they mix a mean mojito. Just need a way to keep the Victorians out...

 

I intend to save money by using the guide book: "Europe on $5,000 a day".

Agree-could think of nothing WORSE than going on a cheap nasty holiday to Europe .

Reads like a delightful area the SC-Lizard skins, pensioners, Surf Clubs with $10 meals poor Fat Victorians and 3-story poorly built concrete apartments --Think I'll give it a miss!

I could think of nothing WORSE than a holiday on the SC QLD, comprising Surf Club meals, apartment accommodation, cheap coffee shops bagels sand flies and old lizard skin people ... Nah .

 

Can you spread the word to the rest of the Fat Victorians down there so they don’t come here?
