    Very good sir! :):)

I have been back in the Isa since the first of February, 90% of my meals consist of Weetbix for breakfast and tuna/kipper/salmon toasted sandwiches on Rye bread for dinner every night.

And I make 2x of those sandwiches to take to work every shift also lol

Last time I had steak or even a "home cooked meal" was in Mackay in January. I still have a freezer here full of food to cook and eat, but I haven't had time as I have been working near 7 days a week.

I don't eat Maccas or that other rubbish, but a few mornings ago I was up town running around and for some reason I craved Hungry Jacks Big Brekkie wrap, so I pulled in there and got one of those on the way home for breakfast lol

But no other take away or any other crap like that since I have been a bachelor. Maybe because I can't afford it.:oops:

Keep an eye out for smoked fresh water trout Pap, I found some at our local butcher yesterday of all places and gave it a whirl, not salty in the least and just lovely with a salad, it came in a vacuum sealed bag so it’s handy for work dinners ect (I think it was $10 [emoji4]

That's good man, last time I had a beer was in Mackay in January.

I've got 30 bottles of spirits here also that I don't drink, but I might box some of it up and drive it over to Mackay next week.

Taking a car full of boxes to the Father Inlaw's garage again.

Your diet sounds good, maybe too much meat. That or I'm not eating enough meat lol. Haven't had steak since January, but couldn't give a **** about not eating it either. I don't remember the last time I ate steak here at home with the family.

The Inlaw's eat steak 2-3 times a week when we visit.

    True!! :eek::eek:

I eat tinned tuna every day and blood tests come back good a few weeks ago.

Not that I thought too much mercury would ruin my kidneys.:oops:

    Everything was good but.

Yes, I forgot to mention, we eat pork cutlets here instead of steak.

Love tzatziki, don't make it at home but I do eat it and Mum used to make me the best Greek salad!

I miss my Mum and Dad. :(:(

I hope your Mum is ok from her fall the other day.

She's still in hospital, will end up in a rehab place for a few weeks and then remains to be seen if we can get her home. I've had to work from home this week to keep an eye on Dad but have organised a carer to come in daily and check on him. I'm looking forward to getting back to work to relax....

I've eaten tuna nearly everyday for the last 10 years+ and never had an issue.

4x tins a day, 2x for dinner and 2x for lunch at work, all made on sandwiches.

Tuna and onion, smoked tuna, salt and cracked pepper tuna and sometimes sweet chilli tuna sandwiches.

20+ years ago when I was working 7 days a week when I first started working underground, I would get a bowl and put in 2x cans of tuna in springwater and a big can of corn kernals and eat that everyday at work for lunch for a year or so straight lol

Dinner time back then was Spaghetti as I would make a big batch and eat it every night after work. No time to **** around when you're working near 7 days a week, pretty much like I am doing now lol.

I'm having flashbacks from 20 years ago, might have to surprise the boys at work tomorrow and start to eat the same as I did 20+ years ago.........................tuna in springwater with corn kernals mixed in a bowl

    Lol lol lol
