i cant wait to hear how the tranny in the f1 is different than the converted cars.
Not being snide, as I would happily drive a converted car. However, if EAG has done over 450 V8 conversions it seems like they may have a good supply on the F1 parts. I am awaiting the moment they sell those parts to someone looking to reverse a manual conversion and they make money twice on converting an F1 car to an F1 car.
Tony- You actually do know same model F1 and three pedal Ferraris use the same transaxle, right? Just the shift and clutch mechanisms are different. If you do not, I would not post in threads like this.
Of course I do having owned 2 scuds and a 599. I just love to ffluk with the know it all's and there's plenty on this site, lol
That's interesting because you sound like one of them. Sent from my toilet using FerrariChat.com mobile app
You're the one acting like an "antagonistic moron" (what you just reported someone else for being). Permanent thread ban and 30 day site ban.
I feel like we're getting more and more garbage post mostly from newbies Sent from my moto g power using Tapatalk
there are some highly knowledgeable people in these threads who i respect and have learned from, i apologize to them for my contribution to the noise over conversions. I am not apologizing to the keyboard warriors in any shape or form. From a customer perspective, I'm not sure if anyone has more real life conversion experience than me and I've tried to share my findings, as well as HELP fchat members who were complete strangers to me. The fact that my assistance of fchat members takes second place to my views of conversions/my first order experiences with EAG is something i find very telling.
In all honesty I've always had respect for you. While our views on EAG are very different, I don't think I've seen anyone on here besides @flash32 go so far out of their way to help anyone they can in any way they can. Sent from my toilet using FerrariChat.com mobile app

Sometimes I think the ban hammer falls too easily on this site… But not in this case - thank you, ylshih! Kevin
And I thought I would continue reading about updates on the EAG situation ! Personally I don't see the excitement of having a gated F430. When I was looking to buy I contemplated getting a 360 the zeitgeist was defined by gated whereas the F430 had to be F1. The gated cars back in 2014 were about $20,000 more. For the gated enthusiast Toyota has come up with a gated transmission for electric cars, which I again don't understand . To each his own.
I really do like the craftmanship to goes into things like these conversions, I really do not understand all the hype americans have for a manual transmissions, but maybe thats because almost nothing there is a manual? I mean the fact people find it hot when a woman drives a manual blows my mind, here every1 knows how to drive a manual..... Theres no way i would enjoy a manual in our F430 any more than the F1 we have, i think exactly the opposite, i would use the car less as i dont find manuals as enjoyable as a good fast shifting flappy pedal box, the banging of those gears and kick in your back is just awsome, and theres no way a human shifts as fast. Agreed, but then again, i dont understand anyone that would freewillingly buy an EV over an ICE vehicle, we have one since a few months as a company car, and i still hate getting into it, and driving it, EV's are the most boring thing ive ever driven (yes also taycans etc ive driven, give no joy at all, but this is an entirely different discussion)
IMHO the F1 on the F430, when set up properly, is exhilarating and inspiring and doesn't need a manual. Unfortunately, many people do not take the time or understand how to get it and keep it fine tuned. I thought I'd convert mine when I first got the car. Now you couldn't pay me enough to convert it. Just my two cent contribution to the conversation.
