Ford/Red Bull’s future power unit will be the BIG question mark about this plan. Perhaps Newey knows some more precise informations about this capital topic. I guess he’s clearly remembering the painful experience with Renault..
In 2022, Max Verstappen was 7th in Singapore and then went to Japan and won by (+27 seconds). In 2023, Max Verstappen was 5th in Singapore and then went to Japan and won by (+19 seconds). In 2024, Max Verstappen had a DNF in Australia and went to Japan and..........(to be continued)
Image Unavailable, Please Login this is the most diabolical evidence of ''rent free'' I've ever seen. How ******* do you have to be to permanently mark yourself with a driver you hate, lol
Hail Max Verstappen, the best driver of the moment, and already in the Hall of Fame, IMO. I think it's 3 titles, and still counting ... and Red Bull are something special too !
I think Max will get WDC and a good chance Ferrari gets constructors. Unless Checo really steps up, CS and CL with a decent car will put a bunch of points on the board. I think the red team is really starting to get it together.
Though not clearly stated, I believe that chart shows his stats only during the streak of non-DNFs (starting Imola 2022).
Max is best and most formidable driver of the era. He is absolutely at his peak now as Ham fades and the younger lions are still struggling. He is probably the only one who would have a very high chance to be 2024 WDC in a Ferrrari.
I personnally can't put Max on Sir Lewis Hamilton's level overall until he wins a WDC with another team. RB made Vettel look good and consistent as well, thats what they do. Having said that, Max is performing at his highest level at this point.
Dude, you talk about him more than I do. Every 5 minutes. You talking about him now. You talk about him way more than Max or any other driver. You probably gonna continue to talk about him after I'm done with this post.
No not true. I only interject with what you say which is always about that rap star. And btw. You brought his name into this thread. Dude
Grasping at anything to keep your beloved Lewis on the top pedestal. Max thumped Lewis in 2021 even though Mercedes was the best. If it wasn't for some bad luck, bad driving by Lewis, and some questionable mid season rule changes, Verstappen would have ran away with that championship. Verstappen had 11 podiums in the 12 races he finished in 2020, 8 of which were 1st or 2nd despite the 2020 Mercedes being a dominant car. Despite Ferrari being the fastest car for the first half of 2022, Verstappen has a dominant season. Since Max has the best car, he is virtually unbeatable in a fair race. I would love to say Schumacher is the best ever, but Verstappen has surpassed him. You can go down the list of the greatest in F1 history and when all of them had the best car, perhaps even a dominant car, they were still beatable from time to time. Barrichello had his days in the F2002 and F2004. Hamilton struggled against Bottas in quali, and Bottas had his share of wins when Hamilton was his only competition. We don't even need to talk about Rosberg. Since about mid 2018, Verstappen's teammates haven't been able to beat him. If Max has a car even 0.5 seconds slower, he is still a threat.
I don't need to grasp when I have facts. Again Vettel looked great at RB. I need to see Max win with a different team. Absolutey no problem if you don't agree. Max didn't thump Sir Lewis Hamilton in 2021. Sir Lewis Hamilton drove better than Max in the closing races, even the last race Sir Lewis Hamilton had the better start than Max and controlled the race. All Max did was make pitstops all race, and needed Masi to intervine his lackluster race and alter the outcome.
What facts? You ignored all the facts I just posted. Mercedes had a dominant car at the end of 2021. An illegal one at that. Passing 2 or 3 cars in a single straight has nothing to do with driver skill. One could argue that Perez drove better than Lewis in Abu Dhabi with his great defense against a MUCH better car. If Max's tire didn't blow in Baku, he dominates that race. If Lewis didn't crash Verstappen out of Silverstone, he at least gets 2nd, maybe a win. If Lewis didn't drive Max off the track in Monza, he would have got at least 2nd, most likely a win. At least 61 extra points for Verstappen and the championship is wrapped up in Qatar. Since we are talking about who drove better. Lewis crashed himself in Imola and only got saved by Russell crashing into Bottas. Lewis threw away a win because of brake magic in Baku. Lewis can't seem to pass a slower car and crashes into the back of Max in Jeddah. If the FIA didn't change the pitstop rules mid season, the Red Bull Monza pitstop wouldn't have even happened, and Max wins that race most likely. If the FIA didn't change the flexy rear wing rule mid season, Red Bull would have had a better car for longer. If the FIA would have investigated Mercedes illegal rear wing sooner, they wouldn't have had such a dominant car in the end. The FIA ignored the collapsible suspension. 2021 was heavily manipulated. The FIA ignored a fair amount of over the edge driving by Max (Imola chicane, Monza T4, Brazil), but it they threw out unfair penalties and let Lewis get away with a lot more all in order to keep the championship close. As I said, without all this nonsense, Max crushes Lewis in 2021.
