It could be an old test mule that they are using for any number of things. Could be a new tire or a brake compound test, electronic update etc etc.... We see "old" mules out on the road often, it's nothing new.

Sounds like a new market for Ferrari to enter- the Super Pickup Truck Market!
Now that the PS has been a success
And call it the Ferrari Cavallo!

850 LM, 850 Monte Carlo, 850 Mille Miglia, 850 Diodici… they all sound great! Could also be 850 Aerodinamico.

Ascari is too Maserati and Milano is too Alfa (they will unveil the full EV Alfa Milano in 2 days).

    Why not simply 865 GTB/4?

I like it. Or 540 GTB/4 for complete consistency.

No. Nose is too heavy with the V8. I would leave a TRX for dead. Easy.

They just have a fleet of cars that they use for testing... Some have camo on, some havent. They dont spend time/energy stripping the camo off because it's not needed anymore. They just want to test a piece of kit on it. They install it, they drive it. Some test cars dont have any camo on it, and we dont know they are test cars, because it's not obvious.

Elighten me on the consistency, please do. I wrote 865 just as a wild guess, 8 to keep a high figure and 65 to match from 365. What's the expected capacity of the engine?

I guess it would be hard for marketing people to go back to a lower number from 812 (if it has to be a number). Then again, we have the example of 296 from 488 although it is probably not entirely comparable (different engine, concept) and also there was the F8 in-between to make forget. For a replacement flagship V12 IMO it would be weird for them to use a lower 3-digit number, so I'm guessing higher than 812 or else a different nomenclature.

The '365' in the Daytona's name denoted the capacity of each cylinder of its 4.4L engine. If the F167 sticks to a 6.5L capacity, the individual cylinder capacity would be 540 hence for consistency 540 GTB/4.

Until they take away the V12 and give you a V6 with hydrogen tanks.
I love my SF90 but all electric V6 - zero desire and will be like the rest holding onto the best of the era.

the enzo is beautiful but i'm not sure how well engineered it actually is, the p 4/5 managed to shave off 270kg from it for starters lol

865 would make sense though- as its an 800+ hp engine of 6.5l size. The 812 was 8 for the 800 cv power and the 12 for the dodici cilindri

What car are you on the list for - the car on the list to be made has a list.
Anyway - I'm sorry you want an all electric Ferrari - talking to AI for updates will be awesome
Ferrari just showed a 296 with two hydrogen tanks - please show your on the list car.

Holding on to the best of the era….an interesting question that. And I wonder if F167 will be among them. I saw a post recently from EVO about the Speciale being the best car of the last 25 years - “of all the significant cars we have tested in the last 25 years, one stands above all others. Ladies and Gentlemen, the sublime, unsurpassed, Ferrari 458 Speciale”.

We still have our 1 owner, 14,000 mile example and I agree, it is very special. Fun question; when the world is electric, what cars does everyone think are candidates to keep in the garage for ultra long term? Will F167 be among them given most original owners have sold on their 599s, F12s, 812s etc.

Isn't it a bit premature to discuss if its a keeper since despite more than 7500 posts no-one really knows anything about the F167 - unless of course you've had a sneak preview ?

Not really. What more do we need to know? All the above were interesting and different when they were launched and the F167 will be the same. Different to its predecessors and an interesting and beautiful car. But it will still be a front-engined, normally-aspirated V12.

I think it was a joke. An all electric vehicle has no ICE. So an all electric V6 model cannot exist ever!

Well, unless the V6 runs a generator I guess!
