Serious question: If the F167 is completely awesome, would anyone refuse to buy because of a name?

SF90 F8 These are different times of which you don't comprehend.
Puro at 20% production will eat into overall production. I ordered one and can't wait to drive it.
Ferrari's last V12 Coupe / Spider will bring up all V12's not weaken them as you desperately wish.
I will guarantee you that no one who owns a bunch of Ferrari's gives a hoot about depreciation other than these bs threads and comments from guys who are miserable. It's not a hobby for the faint of heart, it's not our first Ferrari but it could be our last V12 new Ferrari.
There is an appeal you simply don't understand - big picture to receive final track version. If someone lost on their 812 but received a Comp - they did very well.
Not every buyer / car is equal - your overall blanket bs is enough, Let's enjoy these new / old models as much as the day we bought them. It's a long process from debut to selling - stop ruining the adventure.

Ducati sold bikes and there is a line of Akrapovic exhausts.

Although at Jaguar it was a different story.

    1. I can’t believe I’m about to say these words but I actually agree with you about something. That is that these are great cars to drive and enjoy and that nobody who buys one should even think about the depreciation as it’s just included in the cost of ownership and enjoyment.

    2. All I’m saying is that as much as F90, F8, and F167 are the shiny new thing and state of the art oooh and ahhh cars right now, over time they will, ALL 3 OF THEM, depreciate down to under 300k and to believe anything to the contrary is delusional.

I'm delusional and yet I can buy new Ferrari's - not everyone does things the same - you are either clueless or uneducated in business.
Personally hate the bs depreciation to make guys feel important in these threads.
Enjoyment excitement thrilling it's all a lifestyle that comes with a cost - me responding to you is over.

For what it’s worth I think the 812’s will retain their value moving forward. Whether it’s the last or the second last v12 is irrelevant. I’ve owned a few horses and my 812gts is like having 2 cars. Drive it gently (I don’t) it’s a civilized comfortable vehicle. Open it up and all hell breaks loose and it turns into an animal. Best of both worlds really. On track I was hanging quite well with a pista in front of me. Of course it’s heavy but was really fantastic on a technical high speed track. With God’s 6.5L up front I don’t think you could really ask for more. Add to it a classic non-video game interior and a non-active suspension you’ve got a classic. As Chris harris said “ah this is one of the greats from Maranello”. Depreciation as a possibility with the 812 series, but I definitely don’t see them tanking as many people will covet them down the road.

From what I was told, the spider version of the new F167 will be 30% of production. Will be interesting to see if that’s true or not!

It’s not possible that anyone can know the spider percentage.
    Ok it’s gonna be 65%.

I’m not responding to you anymore either. I’m not one of these people complaining about depreciation. I’m also not denying it’s inevitability outside of limited number cars. Unlike some people.

You heard it here folks. Because Chris Harris called the 812 GTS one of the all time greats, I guess it’s not going to depreciate now, even though it was produced in the thousands and thousands of units. Ok.

Still imaging what kind of rear I would like to see on the F167, I would be very happy if the mule in the first picture hid a lip spoiler similar to the one in the second picture, with some prominence but nothing comparable in size to the spoiler of the 812 Competizione. Regarding the rear lights, personally I like much more seeing a Ferrari GT V12 with them in rounded shapes than with the streamlined shapes of the Roma and the 296.:)

Unfortunately it looks like the F167 will have a full width horizontal rear light bar, like every VAG product out there. Agree, a return to the distinctive twin round rear lights would be great.

Ah sarcasm, a commendable and constructive trait. I love the car as do many reputable journalists. It is an opinion that the 812’s will not tank in value not gospel. No matter, I’m never selling it and we can revisit this depreciation topic years from now. In the meantime I will enjoy the car tremendously.

There will be some similarity with the 365 GTB4 and there are 4 tail lights for example.
