860 Testa Rossa would sound decent, but knowing ferrari these days I think they will come out with a hilarious sounding name for this car. Also since the will be releasing it in Miami, it would be better if they display the actual car in pure white with body colored roof.

The comparison between the F12 B and the 812 SF and GTS is probably one of the biggest controversies of recent years here on Ferrarichat. Several years ago I made these comparative picture views between the three cars. Now that many years have passed since the launch of the 812 SF, when I look at these pictures again the idea I get is the following.
In the side and front side views, it is very clear that the three cars belong to the same family and are very close relatives, with the 812 SF and GTS being slimmer and more scooped on the sides. We may like one model more than the other, but from these two view angles IMO , the three cars denote a lot of personality and elegance. However, in the rear side view is where everything changes as the F12 B and the 812 SF /GTS are very different. Although IMO, that hasn't changed over the years, I think the rear of the F12B is better achieved than that of the 812 SF /GTS, I respect the opinion of those who think precisely the opposite.
However, there is something that I am sure will not be controversial. The F167 will be the continuation of a lineage of V12 super GT's and certainly the best in its class.

Back on topic. It appears we are about to receive a car in which the front is ‘Daytona’ and the rear is ‘Espada.’

so curious about the design of this, the 296 and sf90 (more so) looks awful + the puro only looks good in very specific spec combos

    imo

Genuinely I cannot understand how anyone has an issue with the 296. It is almost flawless. Have you spent time with one in person?

Haha! I agree with you that they whiffed on the SF90. It looked disjointed and campy from the time of launch and it is further ageing poorly. However, I have faith that Ferrari will right the wrongs of the SF90 with the next generation replacement of it launching a couple years from now.

I'm not a fan of the 296 either. The front details are not cohesive, the rear looks over styled but forgettable and the overall stance is too chucky which makes it look taller than it is. The 296 GT3 race car works better as the extra length and lower stance makes it look less chunky, so i do have some hope for the 296 VS..

I really hope they have a fresh and new design language for this new model line. I don't like anything about the SF90 or the 296, and the PS is offensively bad for me .

The car is fantastic! I love it……car looks incredible in person especially in a good spec:) one of my favorites I never listen to anyone who doesn’t own that specific mode!

Bianco Cervino wanted a pure white to go against the AF carbon - keeping the car clean.

Yes the SF90 1000hp the most powerful fastest Ferrari & 296 are just horrible - says the jealous chirpers.
Fact is - anyone who doesn't have one is jealous and they can't handle themselves socially.

    What?
Why would they own a specific model they do not like the appearance of?
That comment would seem to eliminate anyone from commenting other than owners (regarding the car's appearance)
How about those that considered but were not appreciative of the design?

The 812 is a departure from what the 550 started and F12 ended. the STO is different category all together.

You took it the wrong way, besides appearance what technical factor could one give without the experience? But sorry my words came out in a way that offended you.

So you think F12 is close to 550 but 812 is a departure from the two?! What is with the F12 lovers? It’s staggering. Neither the (closely related) F12 and 812 are like the 550. And if one is closer it is the 812, which has the 550’s shallower side treatment below the a-pillar and hood/bonnet. You might as well believe the F167 will be rear-engined if you think the F12 ended what the 550 began.

What I love about the 550 is its small size in comparison to the F/812. On the negative was its tighter cockpit for 6’+ drivers. I hope the F167 does both smaller size overall but the bigger cockpit

Hey guys! Looking to join Ferrari family close to end of May. Converting from Lamborghini
My choice is 812 GTS Taylor Made, beautiful spec, heavily loaded.
    Quick question for your guys:
How bad 812 GTS TM depreciated from MSRP for you?
I'm not looking for an investment car, but at the same time would love to make a smart purchase without losing hundreds of thousands of dollars.

    Thank you!!

bizarre take, I love the 296 but just not the styling, to imply jealousy and social inadequacy is odd as we are discussing potential design language changes from the most recent models…

Your opinion is not fact. Many, can intelligently why the F12 is a better design than the 812 and yes is more closely related to the 550, however that’s not the point of this thread.

Frankly if you cover the side details between the front and rear quarter panels and the wheels of the F12and 812- the car lines are identical in outline and proportion. Arguing whether the surface details of one is better than another is like arguing whether blondes are prettier than brunettes- it’s a never ending argument based on opinion…the Hatfields and McCoys…Montagues and Capulets and now…the F12ers and the 812ers at each other’s throats for all eternity

Very bizarre take indeed. I don't like the styling or the way the hugely overweight 296 and SF90 drive. And i'm far from being jealous, as my dealership has called me many times offering me build slots and deals on both models (a first for me from Ferrari), but their is no chance i would trade in my Speciale or Pista for either.
