No no no. You are stating something that is well passed the design stage.
You are diminishing another mans prize not a drawing being sketched
When you put down and double down with no remorse - you have social inadequacy.
If you don't think so - it's your problem - you just can't admit / acknowledge it.

You could be a man - apologize and acknowledge you have no right to put down what someone busted their butt to place a deposit / spec / wait / take delivery and now sits on someone's garage as their trophy. Do as you wish but it's not acceptable here or in person - and you wouldn't do it in person to someone but feel fine doing it here. One day you will learn it's not ok - tick tock Will Crock.

FYI - the SF90 earned me an XX and will likely earn 296 owners XX version - you won't get that call.

 

I agree to stay on track but this is not new news any more - many have seen it and until they post it's just a waiting game til the unveiling. Personally am done with this thread until then.

You hit it on the nose, it’s generally guys whose time has passed, sitting on old cars in their garage, desperately clinging to the idea that what they happen to have is the best.

Would love to know what some of these people drive. And you know the evasive ones are the dreamers. With the biggest, ugliest “opinions” (dressed as fact)

Some really ugly behavior here on Fchat by some insecure fellas who are NOT coming from any position of strength. Quite the opposite.

I have yet to see someone walk up to an SF90 owner and tell them how ugly their new car is. Yet the equivalent happens all time here on Fchat. Not just for SF90.

Same people would be quiet as a mouse in real life. Tells you all you need to know about these personalities.

Ah the standard response to someone having an opinion on here … “Oh yeah? What do YOU drive, bucko?” Because nobody is allowed to comment on a car’s styling unless they also own the same or similar car, apparently. Also, there is a reason SF90 values are dropping like a stone. It’s certainly not the acceleration, so what could it be, I wonder lol

Elegance is subjective, you are using a similar dimension photo and then putting a red one with different dimension. it is not just a matter of a side profile. and don't get me started on a red Ferrari. I like the 812 GTS but it is a departure.

 

So true. Can’t stand those guys. And yeah I’ve never seen one of them walk up to a SF90 owner and say “Ya know, the best trick Ferrari ever pulled was getting people to pay $800k for a tarted up Tributo with a few electric motors stuck onto it.” Never. Not once. And let’s all be thankful because that would be soul crushing to the hapless owner.

 

Well that’s an oxymoron isn’t it? Nobody’s opinion is fact, I was under the impression we all understood that? And that of course works both ways. But nobody can convince me that the F12 has more in common with the 550 than the 812. I have eyes. The F12 looks literally nothing like the 550. The overhangs, the girth, the glasshouse, the headlights, the tail lights - including their number, the wheelbase, the general dimensions, the key lines, the heavily featured bonnet scoop, and so on. There actually isn’t anything similar.

Contrast that with 812 and many dimensions and proportions are similar, the 812 is essentially a heavy facelift so the cars share the same platform. You may dislike the 812 and prefer the F12. Go ahead, knock yourself out. But to say that the F12 ended what the 550 began and that the 812 is other. Can’t even see that as a reasonable opinion to differ on, sorry.

I said the 296 and sf90 looked awful in my opinion, how is that beyond design/styling?

I haven't come into the sf90/296 subforum and commented on anyones specific car to insult them, this is an 812 subforum and we are talking about styling...

there are owners of every single ferrari ever made on this forum, by your logic we can't say anything negative about any ferrari that's ever existed as it will be 'diminishing another mans prize'

it's a privillage to own these cars and having someone on the internet state their opinion that they dislike their cars aesthetics pales into complete insigificance of actually owning them

 

My point is that people opinions have already been formed. You aren’t going to win people over and this isn’t the thread for that anyway. If you want to start another thread to continue your 812 campaign go ahead. People will be happy to argue with you there until the end of time. This thread is about the upcoming V12.

OK, so lets get back on track. What do we think the launch colours for F167 will be? If its an elegant design then a lighter metallic would work best.
