A new giallo and a new rich ox blood type Rosso similar to Rosso Barchetta or something would be very cool.

I'm amazed there still haven't been leaks. Will the Miami event be publicised and the car photos made officially available at that time? Or is that essentially just a private preview for the US cavalcade people with the full reveal to be the European launch on the 30th?

From what I’ve heard and read so far
Daytona front styling, aggressive rear end a la sf90 ish, black painted roof and spoiler, carbon fibre wheels and a yellow/greenish launch colour. This doesn’t sound like your grandfather’s Oldsmobile aka GT car. Hmmm.

The world premiere will be on May 2 for everyone, and I imagine that VIPs will have a preview a little before that date.

Good point, I recall seeing something a page or two ago suggesting that some European dealership TOP/VIP clients would get to see it in the next week or two. Wonder if any will have a 2nd phone with them and sneak a couple of shots for us!

The issue isn't you offering your opinion. Rather, understanding which hill you're trying to die on here with constant negative drivel on a forum dedicated to enthusiasts. We get it, you've developed disdain for Ferrari and its late model cars. Like others here, I'd be more impressed with your sentiments upon knowing your personal experience with the cars you opine about. Otherwise, it's like listening to a child whine about not liking what's for dinner...

Among the Ferrari's I own, includes an SF90 spider and 296 GTS. BOTH are are getting hit by depreciation. However, having just sold my F8 and Portofino M, I can say both of those cars also got hit pretty hard. Not to the same degree as the others...BECAUSE they're also not as expensive. In fact, since my brand new 812 GTS was among the last orders receiving a healthy price increase, I can guarantee it would get hammered if I sold it right now. It's the same EXACT reason among the four dozen watches I own, many of my Patek's are worth nearly half of what they were two years ago. There's a small percentage of humanity able to stroke a check for a $500K watch or car. Why is this so hard for you to comprehend lol? Regardless, who cares? Are you here to protect owners from themselves...or maybe it's belief that you can dissuade prospective buyer's from pulling the trigger? It's routinely said many times each day on this forum, if one is buying new Ferrari's and worried about depreciation, they're going to be disappointed. My McLaren's, Mercedes, Porsche's and Lamborghini's have all suffered from depreciation like everyone else's have, so it's not limited to Ferrari in the way you drone on about. I'm assuming you're aware that the overall economy has struggled mightily on the backside of Covid, with near record inflation and high interest rates? I'm curious if you can provide copies of posts you made about SF90 depreciation from back in 2022, because I can't find them...

Perhaps others have also heard the car will have a number (horsepower?) and an American city in the name, with both coupe and spider released simultaneously?
I guess we'll know soon enough. If true about the models, I would expect the spider will be harder to get initially and either Ferrari or dealers prioritizing allocations for those with an 812 GTS in the garage. While I'm certainly ordering a F167 spider, looking ahead a bit, I'm equally interested in what Ferrari has in store for the SF90 replacement...

Looks like a targa top to me(which I am ok with as it saves weight)

What US city name would be apropos? Indy? Vegas? That is a tough one as they don’t roll off the tongue the way many Italian city names do- Milan, Venice, Rome etc
And Daytona is already in use.

    Let’s clear some things up:

    1. I love modern Ferraris. 458. Speciale. Pista. 296. F12. All 812 variants. LaFerrari. SP3 Daytona. Purosangue. These are both great cars and also great designs. If I’ve left it off that list it means I believe it has highly flawed design.

    2. I have only been countering the argument that 812 GTS will hold its value and not depreciate normally. My confoundingly controversial position is that all regular production Ferraris depereciate normally and that 812 GTS is subject to that dynamic. It’s not a VS and only VS and hypercars are buffered against depreciation.

    3. I have never said that people shouldn’t buy these cars because they depreciate. I have actually said the opposite: Life is short. Buy the car. Enjoy the car. You’re going to lose a chunk of money on deprecation. So what. Stop worrying about it. Don’t let it stop you from enjoying these cars and enjoying life. Let yourself live.

There is no 812 campaign. You simply made a comparison that is easy to disagree with. And you don’t think previous V12s and their styling are relevant to the F167? You raised the point, and I agree with it - previous cars provide the context for how we view the new one.

A targa-type spider might work well, given what we think we know about the design.

I think this might be a solution, basically similar to the 296GTS, looks like a targa but is actually power metal roof.

I’ve been wondering the same thing. All I can come up with are cities that won’t possibly be in the name like: Sandwich (NH), Tightsqueeze (VA) or Intercourse (PA).

That rear is beautiful, with those floating taillights, two on each side, with the wide wheel arches.

Regarding the name, Ferrari used "America" in 1950 (340 America), 1951 (342 America) and in 1953 (375 America). Therefore, it is a name directly linked to the beginning of the brand's history, and worthy of homage.
