It looks a bit like an evolution of the GTO 64, at least for the front section.

Is it me or is that a very optimistic estimate?

The rear window shape & style appears interestingly similar to one in the Maserati Mexico Protoype for which I reproduced a pair of new (glass) ones 15+ years ago.
The previous window was a horribly ill-fitting/-shaped (& flexing) plexiglass.
In attempt to make it fit and stay in place someone had used several sheetmetal screws through its one-off, one-piece, alloy trim molding ...
Repairing/restoring the molding was almost as much work than making the mold and tooling for the glass. A very interesting project.

I drove a Drogo 250 many years ago (it was late 70's/early 80's I don't recall the chassis number) and they take the term 'low roof' to a new level. I am not a tall guy but I couldn't drive the car with a helmet on. The seat was already fitted with spacers at the front to tilt the seat rearward.

That you were able to drive it must have been a miracle! Here I am in 3213 and as you can see from my folded right leg, I didn´t fit at all. It was even worse for a friend of mine who is about 3-4 inches taller than me. He was completely folded up behind the wheel!

Just to be clear, 3213 GT is not a Drogo, has zero to do with Drogo's Carrozzeria Sport Cars and was not rebodied in period. It was built by Terry Hoyle in the UK.
For some the looks might mimick a Drogo, perhaps. 3213 GT is a replica of 1717 GT which is already a rebody.

#3213GT is similar to the 250GTO #3445GT when re-bodied by Carrozzeria Drogo.

Several chassis were re-bodied by Allegretti and others in a similar style:
    #1257GT
    #2391GT
    #2423GT
    #3213GT
    #4769GT
    Certainly more.
These cars shouldn't be called Drogo.

The original Drogo body of #3445GT was fantastic and what was left of it after a serious accident is now on #2423GT.

#1717GT is a unique and precious Ferrari.

Do you know who did the rebody on 2391?

I’m a little confused . I understand the in-period RE body , be it 7 years later. Is the value in the coach builder and detailing vs. factory sanctioned 1 off .. ?

The factory "sanctions" nothing. That's not the point here.
1717 GT was completed April 1960, as a regular PF Coupé.
In 1965 it was damaged and thereafter rebodied by Piero Drogo's Carrozzeria Sports Cars S.n.c. in Modena.
That's five years and means in-period rebody (ten would be max).
