I can't speak on 992 gt3/touring but I know some people who would put in a good word for you if you would like. I'd assume if you'd be able to put in an order it would be for a 992.2 touring
It's a shame though when you think about how one of them was flipped days after ownership. Money speaks louder
No it was "T" I wanted to buy ,but TBH the build allocation time had past -My business partner and his contacts I'd have NO issue buying any new 911 but thank you for the offer .
Ahh right. They're great cars. There's a young guy with one who comes to MV, he absolutely loves it. The manual is perfect as well.
Just checked. The guy got it from Ferrari Melbourne, less than 5 days later it was sold and gone to someone else.
IMO regarding rare models it's ONLY fair that those who buy current new cars get 1st option rather than others who long in the past bought new cars .
I agree in a sense but there's lots of people who just don't want the new cars, and then there will be one car that they like and they'll buy. That's like a porsche friend. He's had 2 993 gt2, 997.2 gt3rs 4.0, multiple gt3/rs and things. But he got offered a 911r, 992 st & 992 gt3rs by his dealer and declined all which he said they didn't really like. The new rs is to much for him but he didn't want the st or r because he thinks they need a wing. Instead he bought a 992 gt3 just for the sake of it which he ended up loving
It was surprising as the guy is a major collector in Melbournee. 812 comp, cgt, f40, slr, speciale aperta, etc, etc. His cars are always on trade plates, that way they are never registered. Still don't understand why he flipped the car not even in a week into ownership
Ferrari were supposedly stopping this practice with written disclaimers, I'll check with my (meth)dealer
