It may not matter much, but due to some 'rules and regulations', they were popularly named the "Monterey Hysteric automobile races" among racers and fans. Regards, Alberto

I took this pic of Pierre Bardinon's 5095 GT at the first GTO Anniversary Tour in Mas du Clos September 1982. Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login
Was reported and we discussed in this thread nearly 2 years ago here. Simon did say that it (5095 GT) had been at the Qatar National Museum for 2 years prior.

Zandwoort several years ago before the track was upgraded for F1 and given the banked corner. I went round there in January 2013 with vintage racer collector Paul Schouwenburg when we were working on his autobiography Ferrari Fever. He was really hustling his.... Mercedes station wagon(!), really twisty, busy track. We showed up on an inactive day, he knew management and they said sure have fun, very laid back. I would have loved to experience the old long course but that ceased to exist many years ago.
poor car - 2 sit on the roof - so dent the roof a little to get less air resistance for the next race
Not to be confused with Piper's low-roofed GTO 4491 GT, 3987 GT has since been restored a couple times and normally lives in Bedford Hills/NY. Marcel Massini
This is precisely the car I want to reproduce with the 1/8 kit I'm talking about here : https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/149578373/ Currently I'm looking into whether the car was equipped with a seat belt for this race. Does anyone have a photo of the cockpit ? Thanks !
