Door sills on my F430 Spider are mostly leather with stainless “cutout” in the high use areas, but still… they’re now the ugliest looking piece of the interior so am considering replacing with carbon fiber.

I see FABSPEED has two options - anybody have them?

More generally, is this stuff pretty scratch resistant? I’d hate to drop a gee on these and then not be happy in the near future…

Hi Kev, I recently bought oem carbon door sills and cross members. Anything in these cars can get scratched. But as far as the carbon goes, they can get scuffed up. But you can buff it out And you can also re Clear coat them. When leather gets scuffed up its harder to fix that.

You can also PPF the carbon sills as well for extra protection.

A bit off topic, but Does anyone have a photo of the fabspeed carbon sills installed in a coupe?

I bought a used set from a vendor and have troubles fitting them. I tried on a few coupes and the sills always seem too long and interferes with the B pillar. The spider seems to be a bit different design (B pillar goes more straight without flaring out ans much at the bottom) and fits much better.
