If you like Rosso Corsa but want to avoid the flat/dull issue ... then your best options are:
    • Rosso Corsa Metallizzato (2-layer metallic)
    • Rosso TRS (4-layer mica)

I honestly feel like this is a personal issue for you. Not being rude. But you don’t like Ferrari metallic colors and don’t like flat reds but don’t want to play for metallic version of their flat reds. At some point, you need to just accept the reality of the situation and pull the trigger on something.

Yes that is mine that was delivered last August. thank you! I already had 130k in options but I would have picked Rosso Scuderia regardless although I was very close to Dino.

No, I think you missunderstood my point or maybe I couldn't make it clear. I would like to go red. I like the appearance of Giallo triplo strato as it is a little pearlescent but doesn't change the character too much. I am searching for something like this in red. i didn't find something but thought about RCMet or 70anni. Unfortunately they cost the same as the obviously more expensive 3/4 layer paints. I would go 70 anni, if was cheaper. If I have to spend 27T€, I would then like a paint that has a reason to be more expensive. So maybe I should have a look at Rosso TRS which I have never seen live before. It is not that I don't like Ferrari metallics but I don't like those, that look very different in different light, that change their character. From dark maroon to somekind of orange. Maybe that makes it clearer. But thank you for your honest opinion !!!

IMO there is NO Ferrari colur worth that amount of money they ask. I can see strips costing more but that's it.

Sure paint composition will change the price however NOT 25,000 POUNDS.

Its Ferrari and they can do whatever they want and all the other manufactures are doing the same thing. While there is demand they can.

However I will say solid colours are not befitting to a product that is so expensive.

IMO people go with RC because they either

    Like the colour
    or
Dont want to spend the $$$$$ for the colour they really like or cannot justify it.

The basic 2 layer colours will provide the LEAST change in colour with respect to sun, shade, angles. Hence why i stated RCM. Yes the price is dear however thats what it is now unfortunately.

    FINALLY!!

The renders of my 296 GTS are out and i can't wait to see the car in person. Of course this is just a render so you might judge it with caution but then again, i simply love it. The colors are: ROSSO LIPSTICK for the ext and all the parts in red inside (even the stitchings) and BLU ELETTRICO on the inside (also in blu elettrico are the details on the bottom part of the external carbon fiber parts) As you might see, the scudetto on the headrest is also different and has the S. F. words right under the horse, a hommage to 70's racing times.

I hope you like it and of course, i want to thank you all for the astonishing amount of infoes you provided me with.

    Cheers!!

Here is a video of a similar combo (the exterior color is different but the int. are in blu elettrico tho)

Stripes go from 10k up to 20k. Most stripes are at 15k, don't know about this one tho but pretty confident it doesn't fall under the 10k mark

Unfortunately not..... here is an extract from the local price list (Germany). Stripes start at 17k and go to 23k (tricolore). If you want the outer borders in a special color there is another 6.6k. I told you, the latest price list is unbelievable.

A little further up in the page you find the colors PNT0, PNT1, like RCMet, Rosso 70 anni or Verde Zeltweg, from 10 to almost 26k.

Interesting how colors can appear differently on fotos. I would have bet that it is Rosso Scuderia.

The 296 had a distinct orange cast to it, but the overcast lighting didn't help.

Every country has its own short comings. Sure I got the RCM as a very low price however I paid 33% Luxury Tax. Frankly we are the ones being raped by the Government.

Absolutely !! But this is not "we" against "you" or bad system against worse system. And I am not sure who does these price adaptions, I would guess it is made in Italy, but I could be wrong.

But back to the topic, would you order RCM again ? Are you satisfied with the optics ?

If i found a Pista with very low mileage and full leather and RCM i would buy it instantly no matter the mark up.

So to answer you question YES 100% no other colour.

Love RC and the RCM just cements the RC colour. Even if at the time I purchased it was double the price.

FWIW Im of the opinion that if a special colour is selected i believe Ferrari goes a little further to make sure its perfect or close to perfect with regards to the paint job.

I saw a RC Pista that was going to be delivered with a paint run down the passenger door.

My car was delivered PERFECT . Even the professional detailer before adding the wrap said its flawless.

Not to open pandoras box but one has to cross their fingers that the car they deliver will have a great paint job.

Ferrari really does send cars to their customers with paint imperfections :(
