Yes, this is nasty. The price increase
Found this in another forum. Not too bad in my eyes. I guess it is Azzurro la Plata Image Unavailable, Please Login
I opted for Blue Electtrico after seeing it live on an SF90. It’s the best blue IMHO. Also coming from Blue TDF on my 488. So many great blue choices!
There are 2 Blu Elettrico colors Blu Elettrico and Blu Elettrico 2020 The 2020 is a touch darker and comes across just a little bit more like a super version of Blu TDF. Both would look great on the 296 Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
I went for Azzuro La Plata and I’m really happy with my choice. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat

This is a screenshot from The Intercooler's video on the 296 vs 750. I loved the color. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Blu Pozzi is classic. Hard to go wrong with it. However, as a non metallic color, and also one with a bit of grey in the highlights, it will soften the edges of the body. I spent some time looking at BE 2020 today and I think the colors are closer than I remembered, the original seems to have more depth, I attribute this to a different type of metallic flake- but the 2020 does have some flake to it. For this exact reason my SA advised me to spec mine with black exhaust tips. I basically gave him a brief of what I envisioned my car to be and a budget and he came back with several specs and after a couple of small tweaks he nailed it.
I spec'd TDF Blue. I know it's a "common" color, but it's a stunning color. The only other color I really considered was Blu Corsa. I looked at Blu Pozzi, and it's definitely a classic color, but my personal opinion was that the darkest colors on the 296 hide the beautiful curves too much for my liking. Not so much in full sunlight, but on a gray / cloudy day, the curves don't show as much as I'd prefer.
Theres a reason TDF is frequently used- it's a great color. Im surprised the price on Blu Simond is now that high, but it's another gorgeous color.
Wow, $50k for paint is just insane. I mean nobody orders a Ferrari because they want to save money, but unless they are using 18K flake, that seems like they are just a little too proud of that color. All that being said, if there's a market clearing price and people will pay....
Is this Pozzi or Blu America ? The latter would definitely have been my second choice after Grigio Titanio…. Pozzi is too flat but looks good on classic old V12s like the 550
I know there's a thread on the exhaust problems here and solutions, but wondering if a ceramic coating over the ceramic would help, at least with cleaning. Imagining PPF won't stick.
The real question is why have Ferrari not solved this yet when we are two years into production ? Coatings and cleaning is the owner fixing a problem created in design
Waw! Great Spec! Being in Belgium I'd probably not go for French flag but I love it! Mine will be Blu America with Grigio Silverstone Livery (LI01 I think), simple wide line in the middle. I'd have chosen another combo if I had known the crazy price increase... It went from a crazy 29k€ only for those colors to a crazier 39k... But I cannot change anymore as my car is in production... and you pay the price at time of delivery... won't be good for resale value but I'm excited to see it.
