The Verell thread I hate to write...

Hey Folks,

I sent the steering column hood, the one with the serial number on it, and the multiswitches to Unobtanium in April 2023 for rebuild. I've been speaking to Verell via phone every week for about the last six weeks. We spoke last Tuesday and he thought he'd have the switches done in a day.

I've since been unable to reach him. Anyone know if he is okay? Or are they nearby and perhaps could grab the steering column hood and send it to me? His health and well being trumps all, but my car is about drivable and I can't without that part...

I called and emailed him recently and he finally replied via phone and email. He said via email on Sunday that he has a 2-3 month backlog. I hope he stays in business. If not, I hope he considers selling to someone willing to take it over and provide these needs.

Many thanks! I am hoping Verrell is okay and is done with my switches. I understand the backlog and sometimes life gets in the way, but now a year in I'm unsure how to proceed.

 

And pretty quick. I use them regularly.

 

I'd be happy to pay Verell for his time, btw.

I just got an invoice from Verell, paid it, and he says the swtiches will ship tomorrow! Glad he is alive and well!
